I had contracted Galika Construction and Landscape to do a 24x24 Concrete foundation for my garage.After the owner came to see the job we agreed on $$$$ not including concrete.Because the digging was not done properly according to Galika construction,he offered to fix it for a small fee.First day he show up at 11.20Am stating he had to renew his truck inspection sticker. OK no problem. We removed the 2 stumps(already out from my backyard)and we purchase crushed stone for leveling my second entrance, witch i payed for separately. First day ended by 4.30 so he don't hit traffic going back home.I had made the first deposit requested of $$$$.He requested fuel for his equipment witch i went and pay for additional $$$. After he continued to extra dig and take the fill to the dump, witch i payed for extra.5 days later he requested additional peyment of $$$$. Please note his schedule was 10.30 stay 1.30 hours leave for 3 hours and come back for 1-2 hours to work.I continue to ask him how much will the extra work will cost me.He got so upset and he told me to stop whining like a( Biceech). I have owned a company before myself and never disrespected anyone like that.We argued and finally he stated that he wants $$$$/day for his work because he usually gets $$$$/day. He never stated that on the time we agreed on the job.Please note he never even did any work he was contracted for.Next day he came at 11am to pick up his equipment because he got a one day job and he will make $$$$ a contract that he showed me.I got upset and told him to remove all his equipment and requested only my deposit back.He keep requesting additional $$$$ for his work.He stated that i threatened to burn his equipment and that is why he removed it. In my own property???? please get your fact straight .He got a better contract somewhere else and did not know how to bail on me.I had rented equipment to finish the job and contracted another company that did the concrete foundation in 3 days with a crew of 4 man for less money. I am only requesting my deposit back of $$$$ and $$$ fuel i had purchase for his Equipment. Let the legal system take care of this .
