Please avoid Gadget Guru in Owings Mills. I went to get a price on replacing the back glass on a phone. The first time I was there, they told me $60. The second time, when I was going to put down a down payment, they told me $120 and I walked out. Stupidly, I went back and they wrote up the order for $100 (???) and I put down a down payment. They told me that they would call me when the part came in, about 2 days. 6 days later I called them and they told me it had just come in that morning and had been backordered. (yeah, right???)\r

I picked up the ""fixed"" phone yesterday. I noticed that the back was very rough on the outside but had a child in the car and didn't want to make her wait anymore. I picked the phone up today and noticed that there were lots of cracks on the back - mostly going to the rough spots on the outside. I brought the phone in and, long story short, all four people in the store are refusing to fix it. They accused me of dropping it and they disregarded the rough parts on the outside. I do not like being called a liar.\r

They said the parts they ordered were 3rd party, not original. I wish I knew that before I ordered - ask. That might be why they were bad quality!
