Our daughter had an excellent experience at GYLC (Washington DC and NYC) this Summer 2017. Not only was it fruitful academically, but also culturally and socially as she had the opportunity to meet peers from all around the globe. We truly recommend this conference as this is the second daughter to attend GYLC (our older daughter attended in Summer 2010) and both have very fond memories. more

Before participating in the Global Young Leaders Conference, I was hesitant and doubtful with my abilities as a young diplomat and leader. However, after the 12 day experience, I have truly grown into a better version of myself.The conference tested my social, diplomatic and independent skills and really taught me so much about the world around me as well as myself. I was able to learn about so many different people's cultures and religions and got to share my background as well, as we were given the platform to do so. It was an amazing atmosphere filled with intelligent, like-minded people who shared the same idea as me: to change the world. I met some incredible people from around the world, in which I still keep in contact with. I would recommend this conference to anyone who wants to take a step outside of their comfort zone and who wants to feel challenged as well as rewarded. This is an amazing opportunity you'll remember for the rest of your life! Was the best risk I've ever taken. more

GYLC was by far one of the most enjoyable and exciting experiences I've ever been on . Prior to attending the program i was overwhelmed with mixed emotions constantly wondering how i was going to make new friends and how would i be able to participate in the activities i saw scheduled since throughout my life I've always been an extremely reserved person or more importantly how would i even begin navigating my way around one of the biggest cities in the world but after spending two weeks with what i could only describe as some of the most intelligent, talented and friendly kids from all around the world within a matter of days a problem that couldn't be corrected in 17 years was resolved. The staff of GYLC especially did their very best to cater for every student's needs whether it be ethical or dietary ensuring all scholars comfort. GYLC definitely was an eye opener giving an insight not only academically into the business world but also into the lives of hundreds of children around the world allowing you to dive culturally into their backgrounds allowing you to fully appreciate different cultures and showcasing just how diverse everyone's culture is. Coming from a person who loves travelling, i signed up to visit one country but by the time i left it felt as if I've visited hundreds more. more

My daughter attended GYLC in Washington and New York in June/July of 2016. Travelling all the way from Australia was a major commitment but completely worth it. Envision's GYLC provided a forum for her to step outside of her usual school life, to start to see the world as an adult, and to see her role in it as full of potential. She made amazing friends and grew in confidence and maturity but she also had her eyes opened to so many important social and political issues. The organisation of the conference, accomodation and communication to parents by Envision was exceptional and we never felt concerned for our daughter or left out of the loop. I would recommend this programme and envision most highly. more

The GYLC trip to China was amazing! I've done 10 Envision conferences, and Envision always delivers. There was a great balance between sightseeing and free time to explore, while still learning about college preparation and being successful in the business industry. I would highly recommend this to anyone who wants to travel abroad in a safe, organized way. more
