PLEASE BELIEVE WHAT YOU READ!!!!\r I had read the poor reviews for Gator Tint. But thought could they really be that bad? YES they can! I went to them because they were right down the street from me. They were having the building painted when they had my brand new car. I did not realize until I got home that they got over spray all over my car. I had white paint everywhere. I tried several times to call them but they would not answer. I sent hours washing my car picking off all the overspray. Then within a day my windows started bubbling. 4 out of 5 windows need to be redone. They have marks and bubbles. I have made several calls and several trips up to the shop. Rico keeps telling me tomorrow he will fix it. This last trip he said he would definitely fix the windows but when I got there FPL had shut off their power. (What good company can’t even pay their bills) I told them I wanted a refund for my windows since they do not want to fix them. They told me I would have to wait until they could get the money up. So now I have to go to another tint shop and pay more money to have my windows fixed. \r BEWARE OF GATOR TINT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!\r more

Formerly on Davie Blvd and Riverland Road, this was a terrific and trustworthy place to get your car tinted. That is why you see positive ratings. Now, however, it has moved and is being run by unprofessional, inefficient, uncaring, unqualified, and incapable hood rats. The tint was crooked and sloppy, the remnants of drug use were left in the car along with trash from the installation, the follow up for the lifetime guarantee consisted of no return calls, twice leaving our car on at the appointed day and time and twice being told that ""the tint did not come in"". One star is too many, but the lowest rating available. more

The real story 6/19/2010

I personally use to work at this shop when it was ran by Shawn (The real Gator). He taught me how to hang film and ran his shop very well. It wasn't until his partner that runs the place now, stole this mans share of the business from right under him. Shawn is the one who put his blood and sweat, (I know because I was there) into Gator Tint. This guy is a fraud. They have not been installing Custom car stereo's for 27 years. Trying to use brand recognition to sell someone else s product. And he's trying to take credit for someone else s work. What goes around comes around, you know this because you've all heard about the legal problems they are having. Karma is so true isn't it. Anyone who knows this business knows what i'm saying is 100% true. The owner is reading this right now thinking ""damn, how did he know?"" The truth hurts doesn't it. Anyways, now you all know the truth of Gator Tint. Ps. you should of left the old website up. The age of the domain would have ranked you better on google. You thought you knew what you were doing. Stop passing judgement 5/26/2010

I felt compelled to respond to some posts regarding Gator Tint. What happened to a person is innocent until proven guilty there has been no trial yet and people are already convicting this man. The posts are a defamation of character and they are harsh and cruel. There are a lot of people involved in this; there is a woman who lost her husband and a child that lost her father, but also there is the family of the owner of Gator Tint who are relying on Gator Tint to feed them should they be punished too. When this is over the truth will come out and if these people are guilty then I pray the legal system that we rely on will prevail, but for now leave this place alone do not condemn a business that supports a family with children. Fair business 4/6/2010

After reading these reviews, I am a little shocked. I have taken my last 3 cars to this place and the 2 cars I kept had to go back for re-tint due to age. I have never had an issue with this business not taking care of the warantee. The first time I went back with my car I had lost my reciept... they had a record of it and took care of the problem... free of charge. I was very satisfied and will go back again. lifetime warranty scam 3/31/2010

I had my vehicle titnted there and soon after the film was peeking off. After several calls and attempts to have them fix the situation. they finally told me to come in. I had to remove all the tint and was even going to allow them to just retint the front two windows. After taking my keys to do so RANDY the manager attempted to keep my origional receipt that stated "" LIFETIME"" waranty. he wanted to reprint a new receipt that did not give me a waranty. I allowed him to think it over and he was very unprofessional. This matter will now goto Broward County Small claims litigation. Cons: they did nnot honnor there warranty more

I am writin this so you all know, over the years we have tinted houndress of thousands of cars homes and yahts, allso have installed countless car audio systems, alarms and so much more I am proud of my reputation and 9 out of ten people say we have the best service amnd warrenty in the industry and that is a fact '' things happen, its how there delt with that matters' I am here to tell you there is no better service then that we provide, some of the bad reviews are true and were delt with and some are not only untrue but justo jock I make eery effort to train all my staff to be the best in our industry please contact me directly if you have a concern or problem at any of my stores I am involved I am not one of those owners that sit n the sideline and that should show ts self you dont last more than 23 years doing things wrong and thats a fact we all know, so please call me if you have a Question and I randy tundidor will deal with it my self thank you all in advance ffor taking the time to read this. best wishes to all of you'' Pros: Over 23 years serving dade broward and palm beach Cons: we are not perfect, and have something for every one more

wouldn't recommend to anyone 1/2/2010

Had my wife's car tinted there. when we picked it up, there were some white spots on the perimeter of the window. When I asked for the gentleman there to take a look at it, I got the worst attitude I've ever experienced. He acted like he couldn't believe that anyone would ever question his work, then told me that seeing that I chose the cheapest junk that they sell (his words), that I shouldn't expect it to look perfect. Stay away, tell your friends to stay away. Cons: Awful attitude more

was satisfied - went back a 2nd time and got car damage. 11/23/2009

got the tint done on my car when I first bought it. had to get driver side window replaced, so I went back to get it re-tinted and got new tint PLUS damages to the driver side door panel. still waiting on a call back... extremely disappointed and would not recommend to anyone again. I called around to all several different tint business before I made by decision to go with Randy. When i contacted Gator Tint it was a no brainer he new what he was talking about and was able to schedule me next day. They used the premium film that has a lifetime warranty. My car looks awesome I have a new Toyota Camry. Thanks so much Gator Tint for doing an outstanding Job!!!! Pros: They did a Top Notch job on my tint!! more

I thank Randy for letting me used his computer at the shop, since mine was not working yesterday when I came to drop off a thank you gift for him for the good services they provided!! Despite of the some of the negative reviews, I decided to go with all the positive ones and give Gator Tint a try. I needed window tinting at my house and Randy (owner of Gator Tint) came to do a free estimate, he came over with so many different options that he actually educated me for what was best for my house, regarding heat rejection and also privacy, on top of that the best warranty and when the job was performed was just what I expected; it was neat, clean and very professional. My house looks awesome! I was so happy with the job that a few weeks after, I decided to bring my new car in to the shop, which is very customer friendly, to have my car tinted too and I got the same great customer service and professionalism, they even dropped me off to my house while they were working on my car and after it was done, they picked me up….the job was just perfect, very neat and clean, just like my house was, I am very happy with both jobs, my house and my car, I definitely recommended Gator Tint to any one that is as picky as I am!!! I tried and kept on coming and referring friends 7/24/2009

It's the only place I trust my Toyota Camry. For all additions I've done to it, they got it just right. The service is guarantied and they do not stop until I'm satisfied. Some of my friends have done different type jobs and they are very happy with the service too. Pros: Excellent Service more

Never Again 6/7/2009

My father bought me a brand new AUDI 09 and I was super excitied to get my windows tinited and enjoy my new ride. So I researched the interenet for a tinting company and came across Gator Tint. Yea big mistake!! They are so pricey and did a horrible job. I had to take my car twice for them to fix the air bubbles, scratches and dust that was between the window and film. After the second visit to redo my windows I was furious almost in tears, my tints came out worse than before and the leather in my car was torn a little. Never will I recommend anyone hear I should have listened to my friends advice and go to their tint shops to recieve a less price and a better job!! Pros: Nothing Cons: Horrible work more

Awesome work 5/26/2009

I just recently took my new vehicle to have a sound system, dvds, and tints installed. The system rocks! The dvds screens were done perfectly, the amps and speaker box were made just as I wanted and still have enough space on my trunk (which was a concern to me). Their service was great, installation was impressive, and their products were menu has the best brands. I will recommend them to all my friends cause their work and customer service is the best! more

Impressed with the quality of service 5/26/2009

I took my car to Gator tint looking for quality work cause the previous tint shop did a horrible job. Once I got to Gator tint, I was impress not only on their great customer service, but also the quality of their work, product, and commpetative prices.
