Fumare Lounge

This is by far the best place to go!!! The service is great and the hookahs are full of flavor and smoke. I will be back for sure when I am in the area. This is now my favorite place in the whole of Schaumberg and Chicago land. I look forward to my next experience at Fumare. more

This place was great. The hookahs that the girl told us about were absolutely amazing! i felt like they really tried to make me feel welcome. The ownership has changed, but it seems much cleaner. THe bathrooms used to be awful and now i feel a lot more comfortable going in there. I think the place needs to keep up with having DJs on weekends, that was my only downside. THe guy that works there is super cute and he came around to make sure we liked the hookahs. Overall great place and the hot staff member isnt too bad either. I'm deff happy about the transition. I gave this place one last chance this past Friday. That was it! All the hookah bars in this area are just trying to out do each other and its not working for them. This is not the only hookah bar that is going down the drain. Inferno is truly hell to go to and dont even get me started on exhale. But this review is for Fumar. First of all this is a hookah bar. I left the club scene when I turned 25. Who the heck has a disco ball in a hookah bar? I've been going here since they first opened up and they actually used to be good at one point. If you are the owner and is reading this your music is not bad but its tooooooooooooooooooo loud. I go here to relax after a busy week. My advise to you would be to keep it upscale and sophisticated so people of my age group can still come there to relax. I dont feel this way when I go to Sheeshas or lux. Fumar is closer to me and I wish their music wasnt as loud as it is. Service has also deteriorated a lot since 2006. I will however commend them on their selection. There is only one other hookah bar that I know of which offers more flavors than them. Aside from that their hookah is probably the best IN THE AREA. Inferno simply cannot make one and exhale can only try to dream of such a thing. IMO, keep the music level just where I can at least hear the person sitting next to me and keep the lights somewhat a bit brighter. Pros: hookah Cons: LOUD LOUD LOUD SERVICE more

This hookah lounge has a great atmosphere. Real kool to chill with friends, but the service lacked on service umm I had to ask for new charcoal. The guy waiting on us did not know his product I asked him on teas and he brought a menu and it didn't even have the flavors. more

Fumare was the first hookah bar ive been too. I liked their pizza and mozzarella stix, but there were a few cons. The place isnt that big to begin with and when you try and cram as much seating as possible next to eachother its bad for customers like me. I felt like i had to walk sideways to get around everyone to the front counter. Johnny makes a good hookah, but the owner ( they called him pharohs?) seemed like a robot and not friendly. Overall i rate it average and their is a definate place for improvement. Pros: good hookah, good food and drink Cons: needs waitresses, less tables and chairs in the way more

Went to Fumare tonight and had a horrible experience The atmosphere is really nice, the hookah experience is great, but theres one problem. They take reservations, and if youre a walk in, they will kick you out, even if you have already paid Our only option besides leaving was being given a set up that didnt even exist that they could "set up for us if we really wanted it" behind the dj booth next to the bathrooms. We spent upwards of 40 dollars, and were kicked out in less than 1 hour Ridiculous much? Great atmosphere music and lightning. There are guest DJ's on Saturday nights. Great food! This a really nice place to take your date out to. Just make sure you make reservations! quickly after 9PM the lounge fills up and theres no room... Ive been there every weekend for the past month and totally loving it. They sell hookahs and accessories also. Guest DJ's are a lot of fun but even if the owner is playing music its still good. Pros: Service, Atmosphere, food. Cons: No happy hour, the cover charge is a little bit confusing but not expensive. more

cant say enough about this place....the best hookah around..even better then the city...its cheap and good quatlity hookah..this stuff last for a long time and doesnt burn and isnt harsh...the peple are very very friendly and good service is provided...the hookah though is realy good...great taste..great everything..truly made well...im there almost everyweek end....make sure you give it try more

This place rocks! Nothing like it in Scahumburg! The best part is the hookaand these guys know how to make it! if you want to have good hooka go to Fumare's! Probably the best I had in Chicago! Next time were gettin the tent room!! Pros: Hooka, Value/service, Trendy Cons: no BYOB, No alcohol more

This place is great! Great food, service, and hukka's. If you have a large party make sure you call ahead and book the private room, its the seller of this place. Make sure you try the hummus and the chocolate covered strawberries. Lastly, you will never find such an amazing hukka as you do here. The best part, the price and not having to drive all theay to the city! Pros: food, hukka, service Cons: atmosphere more
