very disappointed 2/25/2006

I'm so upset with my results. I spent a lot of time researching for a great salon, and Fresche had such good reviews. It's too bad I can't write an equally good review for them. I ask for blonde highlights, and I got a reddish- brown- blonde mix. I feel like my hair looks the worst it ever has. Also, I asked for my hair to be trimmed, and they cut off 2 inches! I don't feel like they listened to what I ask for. I also can't believe it took them 3 1/2 hours to do my hair. I have never been at a salon for half the day. I learned from my experience that you can't always make a decision based on these reviews and that you don't always get what you pay for. I sure would like to have that $270.00 I spent back. The New Oakhurst Salon ROCKS! 2/24/2006

I am now in a quandry as I love both locations that is staffed with the stylists I have ever had the pleasure to experience. The new salon also has great products and great comfy atmoshere. Now I go to both. Highly recommend you check it out and if you are new to color and want to try something super genlte ask about color shines and DO try a treatment - they really do have lasting effects on the health of your hair - totally worth it. Cons: NONE more

Karen is not just a beautician - she's a magician 2/18/2006

I use to have pretty long reddish-brown hair. A few years ago I decided to go blonde. I did the Buckhead scene but it always resulted in a yellow or gold hue. I decided to do it at home instead. Long story short I had ended up burning it all off to well above my shoulders. I made an appointment with Karen to get extensions. I went in to get it colored first and she got it the exact color I have always wanted the very first try and the extensions are better than my real hair. I wish I would have found Fresche years ago! The atmosphere is great, the staff is friendly, the price is right and they deliver on their promises! Even if you are satisfied with your current stylist you should give them a try. I am more than satisfied, I am ecstatic. more

Oakhurst Salon a Big Hit... 2/18/2006

This salon has another location in Grant Park, where I have also been. They have a thing for putting salons in cute charming little neighborhoods in Atlanta! It's very cozy, comfortable and peaceful. Which is a nice change from other salons. They are already known for their great hair color in Atlanta, but now they will be in Decatur. Joi did an amazing job on my color and my cut...She is very talented, worth the money, and seems to ""just know"" what will be best for my face shape and my hair. I always wish that I had somewhere to go to show it off when I leave. Pros: Great service, Expert advise, friendly staff more

If you are looking for the best salon in Atlanta...look no further! This salon was voted Best Hair Color and salon on citysearch for a reason. I have been to alot of salons in Atlanta and always felt like I had to go back home to have my color and cut done by my old stylist. Until I found fresche! Thank god someone in Atlanta knows how to do hair! She knew exactly what to do and I loved it! My stylist, Joi, also the owner, has an amazing eye for the perfect color and cut. We all want this...our stylist to be psycologist, best friend, and personal trend specialist wrap up into one package. This is what you will find with any of the stylist at fresche. Not only do they do the best hair in Atlanta (and I have travelled miles and miles to NY and LA to have this duplicated) but they at the same time have a very friendly atomosphere that says ""Welcome Home"". The minute you walk through the door you feel it and you know, this salon is special. The creative energy circles this unique space and you recognize....Beauty! That is what you see, that is what you come to know and that is what you WILL FEEL when you visit fresche. In Short...fresche=BEAUTY...and I look forward to every single visit and know that you will too. Pros: Creativity, Energy, Soul Cons: none, none, none more

I am a model and Kyle has been cutting my hair for almost four years. He is magnificent! I have done hair modeling as well and they never did as good of a job as Kyle has. His haircuts grow out so perfectly I don't have to come back for months. I also receive more compliments on his cuts and color than when I was a hair model. He listens to who you are and what you want and makes a whole new you. I highly recommend Kyle for cut and/or color. Make sure to check out his book, it is very helpful and I am in it too. more

I am very particular about my color stylist, because my hair is difficult to color, at least to my expectations. Luckily I met Kyle! I am a natural brunette-black who wants my hair to be blonde...without bleach. Sounds crazy, right??? Not to mention I want my hard to cover grays clearly hidden. Kyle is AMAZING and has met all my expectations and then some! He is a natural WIZ-KID with color, not to mention, he gives an incredible cut too!!! Pros: Friendly, Trendy Atmosphere, Relaxing more
