I used French and French several years ago and would never recommend them! The owner, Steve, quoted one price and then doubled it when it was completed. Bait & switch! His reason? ""there was debris in the tank when they pumped it"" - hello?! What did they expect to find, clean water? One of the men on the job told me some of the problem was from flushing toilet paper. I'd like to know what other people they do work for are guilty of flushing! This company and it's owner are a JOKE! more

OWNER WAS GREAT AND SERVICE !!!!! 8/2/2011

After calling around several septic companies, and getting different price ranges for the same service, I spoke with Steve at French & French Septic, and he was very nice and knowledgeable. He came out and gave me an estimate and explained how my system works. He had more knowledge than most of the other companies that came out. We had his company do the work and they did in a reasonable amount of time, stuck with their bid and everything works great. I highly recommend French & French Septic to my friends and family, and have put them on our neighborhood quailified contractors list. more

GREAT SERVICE!!! 7/29/2011

We had a problem with the pump in our septic tank, French and French came out and fixed it. They were very respectful, and explained everything as they went along. I appreciate the time they spent explaining things both with the initial call and while out on the job. Our septic system has worked perfect since the service. I will definitely call them again if needed, and I would highly recommend their company. more

Unprofessional - look elsewhere for septic service 6/5/2008

I had my 2 septic tanks pumped out by French and French and had an issue with a charge on my agreement - one of the services was to reattach a baffle to the end of my pipe in each of the tanks to make it ""code"". After discussing with Steve, the owner, he agreed to refund $250 (on a $1200 bill) for a service that I felt was overpriced. After talking to another septic tank company, the charge should have been around $50-$100 and not $500. After he agreed, that was the last I heard from him. I put in a dispute with my credit card, but it was my word against his and did not get the money back. Overall they were unprofessional, overpriced and I would never use again.
