VILLAGE OF (IMPENETRABLE UNRESPONSIVE DISSEMBLING) IDIOTS is indeed a perfect moniker for the assisted living side, at least. Avoid this toxic waste dump at all costs.\r Main reason: absolutely inept, disinterested administration. This (again focusing only on the abominable assisted living side presided over by a dead squirrel posing as an incredibly bad Ernest Angley toupee', and you unfortunate family patrons know exactly what I mean) indeed is a no-star or even negative-star dungeon, unless you're striving to hasten someone's motivation to reach the final reward. more

Very Disappointed with my experience with Freedom Village Brandywine. First, my Mom was admitted to their Assisted Living, the Admissions person...""Dot"" lied about the charges and other monthly fees, that were not in the contract. She is a very dishonest person who need to ""GO"". When asked her about this, she went to her office and closed and locked the door. Very un-professional. Freedom Village doesn't have an Administrator overseeing the care of my Mother. The nursing assistants talk down to my Mother and other seniors that live in this assisted living. We pay over $6,000 a month and the seniors get cold sandwich for dinner 3 days a week. What's up with that....... Pros: Transportation and Activities Cons: Everything else, Village of Idiots more
