Best Years of My Life 10/31/2013

I can't believe that almost 3 years passed since I decided to attend F&M. Now I am Junior and I am sincerely upset about the fact that at the end of the next year I will be leaving my college years behind. Starting college life is hard. Even harder it is if your start is as international student, who got no friends on this side of Atlantic. F&M was able to provide me with a friendly and welcoming community, great professors and friends that will last me for the rest of my life. Here, I was able not only to pursue my area of interest, Business, but start something that I always wished for, learning Japanese. Thanks to F&M I was able to attend summer program in Japan, making tons of new friends, and new memories. F&M is a prefect place for you, if you want to do something, you truly love. Faculty here is extremely bright and welcoming, the community is hardworking, yet fun and campus itself, is small and cozy. I know plenty of people here that are both pre-med and art students, or business and english majors. Franklin and Marshall gives you endless opportunities to do something fun. It is your task not to miss them! more

F&M forever 3/22/2006

Franklin and Marshall College is a rather small liberal arts school in good ole' Lancaster, PA. The tuition is much higher than the surrounding colleges. If you choose to go here, make sure you know what you want to take in college so that you are not wasting a lot of money. This school is very good for students interested in science, business, and some other majors. The one things this school lacks is a variety of studio art classes. Even though they may be lacking in some areas, the professors are all very good at their job and know what they are talking about. There is a large public park in the back of the school for leisurely enjoyment. They have wonderful facilities. They are currently building a new life sciences building for Biology, Philosophy, and Psychology. The athletic areas are top notch. There are wonderful businesses close by. The food is getting better but I know they are taking steps to improve. Overall, this is the college to choose. more

Franklin & Marshall College, Lancaster PA 3/15/2006

Franklin & Marshall College is a small, private liberal arts college in Lancaster, Pennsylvania. The school has a solid academic reputation and the professors are generally excellent. The social life, however, leaves much to be desired. There is a general lack of interest on campus and fraternities dominate the social scene. Dormitory living is very difficult and most upperclassmen choose to move off campus. Despite these faults, the school maintains its reputation as a first tier liberal arts college. more

Expensive 12/6/2005

It is extremely expensive to go to this school, they do not give you nearly enough aid. I had found some of the buildings not to be in the best conditions especially the dorms. The grounds are kept well though. I do think there is a lot of help academically for students though. more

Wonderful School 8/20/2005

Great school! The professors are very helpful and are always available to try and help the students out. The work is tough, but the school has a great reputation and you get the grade that you deserve. The fitness center (gym, track, pool) is nice. Also, the other students are friendly and come from all around! Lots of great opportunities here. more
