I have had experience with Metrolina Nephrology for over 17 years. I got a kidney transplant over 15 years ago and have nothing but good to say about the doctors, nurses and all related staff. I honestly believe that i would not be alive today ere it not for these people. more

I started going to Metrolina Nephrology because I was having kidney problems due to Lupus. At first I thought that there was nothing they could do but Dr. Tierney requested Cytoxan treatments which is Chemo Therapy. I decided after a few months to go ahead with the treatment. Now that I went through the treatment I have been in remission for two years. I love Dr. Tierney. He is the best Dr. I think that I have ever had. He actually listens when you talk and understands from a patients view what you are going through. His main goal is making you feel and get better. I have been to numerous doctors and the way they talked made it sound like there was nothing else they could do. I never knew about cytoxan until I met Dr. Tierney. Thanks so much. You saved my life. more
