My husband has a hacking cough all week while in rehab for broken leg, nurses kept saying they'd send doctor in, never did...\r
He's kept sitting in an uncomfortable wheelchair all day, and, if he wants to nap, nobody can go into bed until 5 PM. His head was rolling all over the back of the wheelchair. There was a woman there crying, with a hacking cough, that she needed to get into bed. They wouldn't let her.\r
The food is godawful--I have to keep sneaking food to him or he'll disappear.\r

Even on weekdays, when he gets both occuptional and physical therapy, he spends a lot of time down there, just sitting and waiting..\r

He's been there 10 days with no significant improvement--he needs to be able to get up and put at least a little weight on his right leg. They're not allowing it so he's stuck there and can't come home. They need two people to move him and there's nobody here but me.\r

I was stupid enough to believe the Admissions Director when she said 7 day a week therapy. She also told me that a phone comes with each room. Oops, not if you're on the 3rd floor, where he is because he's not weight-bearing. WE ended up spending money on a cheap cellphone, he's gadget-phobic, but he has trouble with it.\r

\r
