Nancy Mantilla did an amazing and beautiful job for my daughter's wedding at St. James Catholic Church and Hamilton Hall in Salem, MA on Sept. 22, 2012. She treats her customers as though they are her own family. I fell in love with Nancy and her quaint and darling flower shop from the moment I met her in the spring when we were starting to plan the wedding. I appreciate all that she did to make Melanie & Mike's wedding day a fairy tale dream come true. The flowers were absolutely beautiful and the bridal bouquet had a special touch of Melanie's grandmother's brooch on it. I can't thank Nancy enough. She is a very special and talented florist! more

AMAZING!!! 8/30/2011

I was married the weekend of Hurricane Irene and Nancy Mantilla's flowers made my indoor wedding magical! She was so great to work with. I just walked in to her beautiful store and she helped me to figure out what I really wanted to do for my colors and types of flowers that I liked. They were really above and beyond amazing! I held my flowers in every single photo and would not put them down until I HAD to change out of my dress! I will absolutely be going to Flores Mantilla anytime i need an arrangement done because there is just something so special about how she arranges the flowers. I would clearly recommend her to anyone who needs arrangements for any occasion!! more

Nancy Mantilla is a master at her work! We got married in Boston and was delighted to work with Nancy. She was easy to work with, patient, professional, fun to work with, reasonably priced, creative and a very good listener. \r \r I encourage anyone to drive to Marblehead to see her store as well. It is there that you will get a sense for how unique she is. She has one of, if not the most, interesting (& pretty) floral shops I've ever been in. Every bouquet, arrangement and center piece is interesting.\r \r If you choose to use Flores Mantilla for your wedding, birthday, dinner party, Mothers day, holiday center piece, etc you will not be disappointed. Simply said, Flores Mantilla is the best and a pleasure to work with.\r more

Amazing florist! 8/20/2010

Nancy Mantilla did the flowers for my Mom's wedding several years ago and the flowers for my wedding in July. The arrangements she made were absolutely gorgeous, not to mention my lovely bouquet! Nancy listened to what I wanted and helped create a beautiful setting for my reception. She was so generous and helpful. Nancy was easy to work with and extremely professional. Her store front is one of the prettiest I have ever seen. It is a joy to walk into and explore. I will go back to Flores Mantilla again and again!! more

Gorgeous Flowers! Excellent Service! 1/24/2009

I first visited Flores Mantilla in Marblehead when I was living in Salem and preparing for my sister's wedding in 2003. While shopping around the North Shore for tasteful and elegant flowers, I discovered Flores Mantilla. The shop was gorgeous and immediately caught my eye. Inside, I was greeted warmly and was invited to set up an individual consultation with the owner to discuss my sister's tastes and ideas for the wedding, She was so helpful in settling on the style of the arrangements, corsages, bouquets and decor. The flowers were fresh and gorgeous on the day of the wedding, and were even delivered and set up for us. They were a truly beautiful, original addition to the occasion and atmosphere. Everyone was admiring them! I have since used Flores Mantilla for most of my holiday flower needs and still get flowers delivered to my new home in Boston. They have my highest recommendation! The flowers here are the most abundantly done and unique gorgeous arrangements I've seen. 8/26/2007

Just visiting the shop is such a treat it is so lush and beautiful. A local photograher (photos@robkipp) has a picture of the front of Flores Mantilla on his website. I have used this florist about 10 times and I have been very pleased everytime. There has never been a problem like the other review says. I am getting married in September and I like the style of this florist so much that I just told her to do her own creation -no guidelines from me at all. \r \r They are all so nice there too. In the spring, as I was helping my neice get ready for her prom, she got a stain on the bodice of her Ivory dress. We had 30 minutes to deal with the problem at 5pm. We ran in to this shop with a hope that they might have some ribbon we could use as a sash to cover up the stain. The owner gave us yards of various colored satin ribbon to try. It worked and my niece had a beautiful sash that looked like it was made for the dress. She didn't even charge us and dropped every thing to help us. So, I am surprised to read the other review. \r \r Every time I have used these folks delivery was on time and the arrangements were truly gorgeous. There is nothing common place about this shop or the arrangements. I highly recommend them. \r \r If you can, go in person so you can see this gorgeous little flower shop. It's a treat to walk around the neighborhood in historic Marblehead and see their store front. I walk by with my dogs on the weekend and there are always new and beautiful things out front too oogle at. The owner does us all a favor by decorating her side walk all year round. Pros: Original arrangements, plush and gorgeous. Cons: In the summer on a weekend parking is tight more

This is the Worst Flower Shop in the Boston Area! 3/11/2007

I was extremely unhappy with the service. The people working were rude. The selection was horrible, and the prices were too high for the half dead flowers and plants for sale. I would not recommend going to this store. To sum up it was over crowed, over priced, and over rated!!!! Cons: Almost everything, price, selection, and service! more

The owner does not know how to treat customers! 3/19/2006

I had arranged for flowers to be delivered to my room before I checked in so that they would be a surprise for her. When I checked in they had not been delivered and so I called Flores Mantilla and they told me that they had my order down for the wrong day but that they would quickly get my order to me and refund me for the charges. Later that night I get a call from the owner and she starts yelling at me about how could she refund my money and why they would do that. I told her that it was not my idea and that she did not have to yell at me and she said that seh would be charging my account again. I do not recommend ever doing business with someone like this no matter what the quality of their product may be. more
