Fleet Feet is the best athletic shoe store in the world. It was opened over 20 years ago by Phil and Jan Fenty who are both serious athlete in their own right. If you're bought your sneakers from the Foot Locker in the past and the fit wasn't quite right, come to Fleet Feet and they will put you into the shoe you need. They know feet and they know sports. They will look at your walk and ask you questions about the activities you do to find exactly the right shoe for you. And they are never wrong in my case and many of my friends who have come here and nowhere else. more

For either the serious runner or the beginner looking to get a little more serious, Fleet Feet DC has a wide selection of affordable running shoes with a experienced and knowledgeable staff that can analyze your stride and suggest the right shoe for you. Furthermore, they'll allow you a couple days to try out your shoes (indoors) and make sure they fit before you're committed to keeping them. more
