I hired Five Star Limousine of Los Angeles also known as VIP Transportation of Los Angeles and a few other names located in Glendale, California for my daughters wedding on 5/28/11. Please BEWARE of this company and it’s owner Mike Garcthien. He seemed to be a very nice and professional man until the day of the wedding. Mike overbooked his company probably due to the fact that the high school prom was also happening the same day and since he could make more money because of the longer hours, he subcontracted our wedding to another company. I had hired him to pick up the bride and bridesmaids before the wedding and after the wedding take the whole wedding party a total of 18 people including the bride and groom to the reception. On the website you will see a very nice fleet of cars, but, he sent the cheesiest limo for my daughter. It was a white escalade as ordered, but it had Mr. Kash with $ signs advertisement written in large white letters on the back and side windows. I don’t mean small writing, I mean writing as big as the windows. My husband and I were so embarrassed; it looked like something you would see on the Las Vegas strip. As if that wasn’t enough, the air conditioner didn’t work and the driver refused to let them roll down the windows which were on baby lock and when the driver dropped of the wedding party at the reception, he asked and was upset because the bridal party hadn’t tipped him. The tip was already included in the whole price that I made to Five Star. I called Mike and he told me he hadn’t subcontracted our limo, but that Mr. Kash was a sister company. He said the air conditioner wouldn’t work because there were 28 people in the limo…a lie! There were 9 girls in the limo before the wedding and 18 people after the wedding…in a limo that holds 24. I called Mr. Kash and talked to Johnny Kash and he told me he is not a sister company to Five Star, but he and Mike are friends and he was helping him out. At this point, the wedding is over, and I guess I could file a lawsuit, but that isn’t going to change what has already happened. The pictures of this horrible limo will forever be a part of my daughter’s wedding pictures and the bad experience will forever be a part of my daughter’s memories.
