Lesson learned read before signing anything. Word of mouth is cheap. First and last time ever.

I had a very bad experience at this gym. My family first joined this gym because it was close to home and it was open 24 hrs a day. After being a member for a year or so, we grew frustrated with how often the equipment was broke. The steam room was broke for a few months. The sauna would break periodically. The hot tub would break and not be fixed for long periods of time. The hot tub temperature was never comfortable, it always seemed to be ridiculously hot or cold. The tanning beds would also be broke for long periods of time. The men's locker room was frequently dirty. The staff was adequate but not friendly. After bringing these issues up with the management to try and cancel the contract they refused. So I was stuck paying for a membership to a gym with broken equipment.\r \r Also, I would frequently use the gym at night and I was always concerned while in the parking lot because of the shady characters that would walk through at night. When I signed up for the membership I did not realize how bad the neighborhood was. more

Ive been coming to this gym now for a year. The staff are very friendly and I've heard people say they are too feiendly but would you rather be greeted by someone who is negative and end up putting you in negative mind set BEFORE YOU WORKOUT. Other customers who come and workout are friendly and dont mind to help you out when you need help. NO ONE in this gym has the holier-than-thou attitude (cough cough genises), even the coaches and trainers go out their way to help you out, now how many gyms can you go ask a personal trainer for advice and then give you correct and free advice rather than worthless advice and then tell you to give them money for more advice, not that many gyms. Staff members here are lenient on noise (im not talking talking about screaming your head off noise) and are also lenient when it comes to gym bags and water bottles. No they do not have a stupid lunk alarm that goes off every second(planet fitness) and is more annoying than screamers. They are an extremely clean gym, I have seen them clean the whole gym twice a day and they clean the jacu, steam room, and pool on a regular basis. I have been to every gym in wichita and this gym has been by far the best gym in Wichita. Ok new customers don't be afraid to give this gym a try and ladies no you do not have to worry about creepy men staring at you while you workout. more

I looked at other gyms in Wichita KS before I joined Fitness 2000, I love it! The equipment is in good condition, I never have to wait for a machine, the other members are nice, and the staff is also pleasant and friendly :) more

fitness 2000 is a wonderful place to work those muscles. Very relaxing with their swimming pool and spa area. fitness 2000 is very welcoming, i always see smiling faces. the workers are very personable too. I wouldnt choose any other gym to work my abs at. if you are new to the area i would suggest you check out this fine fine gym, you wouldnt regret it!!! more

My experience here has been nothing but positive. They have bunch of equipment so there is no waiting on machines or cardio equipment. The staff is friendly and they are happy to help with whatever questions you may have. The group classes are taught by instructors who really enjoy working with members and getting the best out of each and everyone that attends the class. There are also personal trainers on staff that are eager and willing to help you reach your specific goals. Whether it's losing or gaining weight or if you are just wanted to stay fit. If you are looking for somewhere to relax after your workout they do have a dry sauna, steam room, and a hot tub. They also have a massage therapist to work the kinks out of those muscles. I would recommend Fitness 2000 to anyone looking to workout in friendly setting without the intimidation of the yelling or being disrespected by other members more

A pretty cool place. I have worked out here for about 3 months.I never have to wait for a machine! I use to have a Y membership and the worst thing was having to wait for a treadmill! They have daycare for my son and some awesome fitness classes. They just introduced a Hip hop Hustle class which is so much fun, and I have not seen the class at any other gym. Overall fitness 2000 is a good place and the staff is friendly. more

I as well, have my account to be directly withdrawn. There was one time when I couldn't get the treadmill to function correctly, but it was the way I had programmed it. Once I asked the front desk attendant how to fix what I had done, I haven't had any issues since. The equipment is updated, as well as, the other facilities that I've used in the past such as Genesis. I am very pleased with the services at Fitness 2000. Not only is the service cost sufficient, I have never had an issue with needing a piece of equipment that I couldn't get to, nor children playing around & in my way. I am a mother of 2 & bring my children in for the free daycare they provide for those with family memberships. Very pleased & the kids always look forward to going to the gym. Great Service & Staff 7/6/2012

Fitness 2000 is a relaxing facility to work out or enjoy family time in the pool, during these hot summer days. I've been a member since 2005 and wouldn't join another gym. Prior to Fitness 2000 I was a member at Genesis here in Wichita. I didn't like it as much because you were constantly looking for equipment to work out on and the daycare expense wasn't included in the membership, whereas, at Fitness 2000 it is. The price is right and a family orientated business. more

MONEY HUNGRY 3/20/2012

JOINED FITNESS 2000 IN 2009. ENDED UP HAVING MEDICAL PROBLEMS AND THEN LATER BEING PUT ON COMPLETE BED REST. I WENT IN TO TALK TO THE OWNER/MANAGER NOT SURE WHICH AND HE PRETTY MUCH TOLD ME I SIGNED THE CONTRACT. WHICH IS TRUE, BUT I DIDNT KNOW I WASN'T GOING TO BE ABLE TO USE THE SERVICES DUE TO MEDICAL ISSUES. I WENT A TOTAL OF 4 TIMES IN THE FIRST WEEK AND COULDN'T RETURN. MY PAYMENTS WERE $50 SOMETHING A MONTH. WELL ITS NOW MARCH 2012 AND I JUST GOT SERVED PAPERS THIS WEEKEND THAT I HAVE COURT IN APRIL BECAUSE THEY ARE SUEING ME FOR OVER $2000 DOLLARS.... WOW NEVER SAW THAT COMING I FEEL AS THEY ARE JUST MONEY HUNGRY.. HOWEVER I DISPUTED IT AND I WILL FIGHT IT IN COURT. more

Great Diverse Place To Work Out 12/29/2011

Fitness 2000 is a wonderful place to work out. There's not a lot of meat heads that make you feel uncomfortable when working out. The temperature is very cozy and the equipment is fantastic! Not only is the equipment nice, but you don't have to fight or wait for it, unlike the other gyms in town. I would recommend Fitness 2000 to all my friends and family!!! Great Place & Great Staff!!! Everything is clean and very organized. I've had memberships at other gyms & Fitness 2000 seems to be the best place. I've signed a 36 month program & sure I will continue that membership for even longer! I just adore this place! Not to mention the nursery came with my membership so no out of pocket fees for that either. My children look forward to coming to the gym with me & often my motivation to get in there and get my work out on! Totally satisfied! more

Great Service, Staff and Clean Facility 8/13/2011

Thank you Fitness 2000 for the being open 24hrs The gym being open at all hours helps with my work out schedule. I really enjoy the friendly staff and the services they provide. I've checked around and they the BEST prices in town and offer more services within the membership package then any other health club in town! more
