Gracie is staying on the rug, and is no longer pulling on the leash. The instructors showed us with their dogs rather than just trying to talk us through it.

The frequency and pattern of the reviews (they almost all start with the name of the dog and are all very generic dog names) indicate they were all written by the same person, or ...

Had a great time 4/18/2011

I enjoyed the interactions with the other people and dogs. Odin was a rescue at 8 months of age and was very fearful of a lot of things. Thanks First place for helping him (and me ) to have a great time and solve these problems. more

I enjoyed how knowledgeable the staff was 4/15/2011

Jack?s eye contact is unbelievable, he has now learned not to come into my personal space without an invitation, and he no longer pulls on our walks, and is listening now with all the issues we had at drop off. I enjoyed how knowledgeable the staff was, how willing to answer all of my questions, and was very specific in training techniques. more

Has improved with all of his issues 4/14/2011

Ramsey improved with his stays as the rug really helped with all of his issues. They used my dog as a demonstration a dog to show others how to work their dogs as well in our follow up! more

I liked everything 4/11/2011

Roxy is finally learning to obey my commands. I enjoyed learning new things and new ways to train. I have never done any classes so I liked everything. The instructors gave great tips and ideas. more

They gave real world examples and how to use the methods 4/7/2011

Vince showed me how to keep Roxy in her crate, without any stress. I liked the ?good? dog/training that related to my dog being a member of our house not a dog trained in a rink. Vince gave real world examples and how to use the methods taught in class to handle those situations. more

Angel is sitting on the rug, and waiting, which is making her calmer. I like the one on one time with my dog, and learning how to correct bad behaviors. They always gave everyone special attention when needed. more

My dogs have improved with wait and their rugs. Vince explains things in funny but meaningful ways, gave good examples, as referring to people and how they should treat their dogs like you would want to be treated. more

Otis improved on his biting and chasing, I enjoyed learning how to correct bad behaviors. The instructors are always willing to help. Good course, I can't think of any way you can improve the course. more

Trainers at First Place are patient and fun 3/14/2011

What the instructors helped me with is that, we had gone to a different ?school?, previously and thought that our recently adopted dog was ?bad?. The trainers here at First Place made us realize that he really is a good dog. You made us grow to love him more. We are being trained on how to be good owners. Thank you for being patient and fun. We will be back!! more

Good direction from the teacher 3/2/2011

Zaley and we enjoyed the casual atmosphere, other dogs, and good direction from teacher on how to be direct but calm. The instructors taught all of us on how to work through lots of distractions. more

Lexie improved most with her sit and stays. The trainers were very friendly, and answered all of the questions that we had. The instructors stopped and corrected me when I was doings thongs incorrectly. more
