That year, three influential Longmont businessmen started Longmont Realty and Insurance (LR&I). The name stayed the same for about90 years, until three generations of the Jurgens family claimed continuous majority stakes. By 1995, it was finally time to transfer ownership to key company employees. We changed the organization name to First MainStreet Insurance.That brings us to today.
