Pricey but worth every penny 11/11/2005

I have all of my children's birthday cakes done here and they never disappoint. The cakes are always delicious and so fun to look at. My favorite was the cake that looked just like a giant cheeseburger. Everyone loved looking at that one and we enjoyed eating it even more. Yes, you will spend more than if you got a cake at wal-mart but believe me, it is worth the extra dough. hehe more

Time for Cake 8/18/2005

Are you in need of a cake for a special occassion? Look no further than the Federal Bake Shop. They bake wonderful cakes in your choice of flavors. You can even take them a picture of what you want on it and they can do it! Usually requires 24 hours notice. Great tasting cakes for a good price. more

My favorite bakery for cakes!!!! 8/12/2005

I love their cakes!!! They actually did our weeing cake so many years ago. My husband insisted and we had his favorite flavor of white cake with white icing. It is the best cake around. They can make a cook in 24 hours notice and the staff is so nice and friendly. They are conveniently located in between hixson 153 and hixson pike. Most days they also sell by the slice. A great way to find your favorite. more

Best Bakery in Chattanooga 8/12/2005

If you are looking to order a cake, Federal Bakery is the best place in town to go. Their white cake is flavored with almond, and it's the most delicious, subtle flavor...it's a favorite among almost everyone I know. Their icing is not too rich and the decorate their cakes beautifully. They also sell pastries, cookies, brownies, coffee cakes and other treats, but their cakes are legendary. Prices are very reasonable and their staff is helpful. They are located in a strip mall with ample parking. more
