Out Pricing Themselves Out of Work! 7/10/2009

Called to request Graphic Art work for the 'Four Symbols' used by the Rock band Led Zeppelin. A simple scan, copy or past to convert to Outline Form via Adobe Illustrator. Was quoted $90 an hour with 2 hours work. Correct charged for GA is $45-$50 hr. And would take about 30 minute labor time to complete to Electronic file to send via email. I guess I'll go to my storage and get the big glossy book and scan/trace into Adobe Illustrator myself. That's how you 'out price' yourself out of work. I strongly encourage you to shop around first. more

Too Bad the Quality Changed 7/14/2006

Kinko's used to be a reputable print until FedX came along. For the last two years, every print order I had them print, had to be redone once or twice. This is especially frustrating when you have time sensitive material, such as newsletters, that have to be redone. The staff is not very knowledgeable about print terminology or processes, which they used to be. PROS: You can still use their copy machines on site. CONS: Their work isn't timely, or always done correctly. more

Kinkos is a Rip-OFF and Service Sucks 9/4/2005

Kinkos is a great place to go to when it's midnight or 2 o'clock in the AM, but the prices are wayyy too expensive. If you must, go to office depot/office max where the printing job is a lot cheaper and you get more bang for your buck. Also, using the internet was a pain. I needed to scan a document and send it to a friend. They charged me to scan it, internet time to email it, AND it didn't even go through. I called my friend and she didn't receive it. They insisted it takes a couple of minutes. I waited ten minutes and it still didn't go through. I kept bothering them and they were very impatient and curt with me. Having been there to close to an hour. My friend never got the scanned document /email. Of course I got my money back but I will never step foot into Kinko's again unless I have to. By the way, I got my document scanned elsewhere and my friend got the email immediately! more

You can come here to make copies, enlargements and plenty of other things. I love how kinkos is open 24 hours so that if you needed to make a copy of something early in the morning, then you can do it, and how their service is fast and the quality is great. The prices are also cheap. The employees were nice and helpful with what I needed help with. more
