I use Dr. Junk and Dr. Wait from Fayette Vetrinary Hospital. my poodle was taken in with a broken leg. they put a pin in that was too long, it came out the other end of his knee,Blew the knee completly out to where it cant be bent or used. did so much damage he needs a specialist at the cost of 2000.00. and there is no guarantee it will even help.
My prize stud is now ruined for life. will never walk again right, and is 3 legged now. All this could have been prevented had normal procedure been done and a post operative x-ray be taken of the pin. Then they would have seen it was placed wrong and to big then had the chance to immediatly go back in and corrent it. I could not believe they did not follow proper steps to assure the surgery.
please use a different vet for important stuff or your pet will end up like my poodle did. This is not the first time stupid stuff like this has been done to my dogs.
In the end the vet ended up paying me 1000.00 for the dog so that I could get a new stud. (Which is very hard to replace this stud) It was the right thing to do, but my dog is still going to suffer for life and now has only use of 3 legs. So does 1000.00 really cover all the damages, I dont feel so but atleast he paid for the replacement of the dog. So I do give them credit for that.
