PCA Employees Cannot Answer the Simplest Question 10/22/2009

On October 19, 2009, the Undersigned, proceeded to the Kaiser Medical Center in Oakland, California, for an appointment.\r \r I entered a PCA parking garage at 1401 hours and parked on Red Level 2 , which I memorized.\r \r My medical appointment was complete at 1600 hours and shortly thereafter I entered the garage. There I paid USD 7.00 parking fee to the African-American lady sitting in the booth.\r \r I walked to Level 2, noting with some concern, that Level 2 was marked in Green 2. This was quite puzzling, as I had remembered that level being marked in red. I approached a security guard, who insisted that there existed no Red Level 2. After walking on several adjoining levels and not finding my car, I approached the ticket payment booth once again and presented my ticket stub:\r \r The lady examined the stub and assured me, that this was correct. Since I had spent considerable time looking for my vehicle, I asked her, whether I was, in fact, in the correct parking garage as I was looking for Red Level 2. She informed me, that, indeed, I was in the proper garage.\r \r I continued my search, now extending to all levels of the garage, without finding my car. In complete exasperation, I approached security supervisor, Mr. David Kusch. He walked me through the levels and I mentioned that the lady in the ticket booth had assured me to be in the right building, though I was searching for Red Level 2. Mr. Kusch walked with me on all four (4) covered levels, except the open-air level 5, again, without finding my Toyota Matrix. He also approached the same lady in the ticket booth, showed her my stub, and was again informed to be in the right building. She was also reminded the car was parked on Red Level 2.\r \r This time, Mr. Kusch asked me to enter a white security vehicle to patrol the four (4) levels in this fashion. We had no success. The only level painted red was Level 1 in this building, though Mr. Kusch mentioned a second building existed, where Level 2 was shown in red color.\r \r At 1730 hours, we found my car in the second building, parked as I had remembered, on Red Level 2. He was kind enough to wave his pass card at the exit gate, when I was asked to pay an additional USD 7.00 for the time that elapsed in my search from 1600-1730 hours. Pros: Conveniently close to the Kaiser hospital Cons: See below more
