On Monday, May 21st, I entered Fashion Park Cleaners after 6 p.m. (20701 Kingsland Blvd., Katy, TX) to pick up clothes dropped off before 9 a.m. that same day. This cleaners has a sign posted stating, ?In by 9 a.m., same day service.? The young man behind the counter explained the order was only partially ready but the truck should return with the remainder of the order before 7 p.m. I paid for the partially complete order and returned to Fashion Park Cleaners at approximately 6:55 p.m. The same gentlemen explained the delivery truck never arrived and asked if I could pick up my order at another location. This young man called the other location (Fashion Park Cleaners located on 23144-A Cinco Ranch Blvd., Katy, TX), explained to the employee that I would pay for the order at the Kingsland location and pick up the clothes at the Cinco Ranch location. When I arrived to Fashion Park Cleaners at Cinco Ranch, I showed the female employee my receipt, she handed me my clothes, and I asked her if I could speak to the manager. Once the manager arrived, I introduced myself and explained that I needed to make a complaint regarding the service I received from his establishment. He walked behind the counter and the employee described the incident. The manager became very agitated, raised his voice and started to scream at me. He shouted there was no guarantee. I tried to explain the sign at the Kingsland location, showed him the receipt and stated I paid for the same day service. He continued to scream and became very disrespectful towards me in his words and actions. As I tried to pick up my clothes, he grabbed them out of my hands and attempted to rip them out of my hands and take them to the back room. I would not let go and he pulled me across the counter even though I had previously showed I had paid for my clothes. Eventually, I was able to secure my clothing but at this time the bag was torn and the clothing was wrinkled and damaged. During the struggle, the manager yelled at the employee to call the police because I was violent and a thief. Once again, I showed him my receipt that I paid for the clothing. He continued to yell at me while the employee was speaking to Dispatch. He yanked the phone out of her hands and started to yell at the Dispatcher about my violent nature. When the Fort Bend Sheriff?s Deputy arrived at the scene, she found me distraught and scared because the manager continued to scream at me while we were waiting for the police to arrive. The female office took both statements. While accounts were given, it was disclosed that the manager was, in fact, the owner (Dhruv Solanki). Dhruv Solanki continued to raise his voice to both the Officer and myself during this encounter. No criminal charges were filed but the Deputy explained I could take him to civil court for the damages. She later apologized to me that I had to go through an encounter like this. During this situation, I was not belligerent, did not use profanity, and did not yell or scream at the employees or the owner. Later that evening, I found bruises and scratches on my forearm from the altercation. As a customer, I should have the right to voice my complaints when services rendered are not delivered in a satisfactory manner or as advertised. I was respectful to all parties involved but was not treated with the same respect from the owner. Please review this incident involving Fashion Park Cleaners and the owner Dhruv Solanki so that other customers do not have to go through an encounter like I experienced with this company. more

Horrible Service! 7/20/2011

Horrible!!! Just went in and 2 of my husbands shirts were ruined and they STILL made me PAY FOR SERVICE!!! One of the shirts was a brand new shirt and the red dye bled onto the cream part of the shirt!!!! HORRIBLE...did I say HORRIBLE!!! The other shirt had spots on the shirt...they REWASHED...when I went to pick it up 2 days later the shirt had not be touched...they tried to treat while I was there WAITING without success. Not sure where the spots came from, but the lady at the counter said I still had to pay since the SERVICE had been done!!!! Really....only 0 stars, but not an option!! more
