Best Hidden place to eat in all CU 1/4/2008

This place is one of the best restaurants in central illinois! It is hidden away with no ad's or website, but i am here to tell you its Top Drawer! The Blackened Chicken taco's are SO good that i get them once a week and have never been disappointed with anything i have had on the menu Which constantly has new "Specials" which will blow you away. My wife says the blackened Tilapia and the blackened salmon tacos are off the charts good, and their salads are tops too. This is a MUST place to visit when in Champaign!!! more

"Chips" (by a British person) 8/30/2006

I found this via the website because I was missing 'fish and chips' and called the restaurant. They told me their 'chips' were cut themselves (implying the sort of chips you have in England, not 'french fries') and I ordered a large portion to go. I was extremely disappointed when I picked these up that not only were they completely over-cooked and burnt but they were also regular thin french fries. I cannot say anything about the rest of their menu, but as for 'Fish & Chips' they have, at least from the British perspective, nothing of the sort. more

Great pub food 8/30/2005

This place has great food! It is located in a sort-of out of the way place that looks like it used to be a warehouse. It's in the basement, but the food prices reflect this savings. They have everything from good burgers to fish and chips to a great scallop salad. Known for their garlic potato salad, they also have french fries, or pasta salad as an option. There is also a full bar and, although the televisions are small, you can always get close up so it is a decent alternative to watch the Illini games when all the regular bars are totally packed. more
