I worked at the Farrell Golden Dawn for a grand total of 7 hours and it felt like 7 years. They were so rude and disrespectful not only to me but to the customers as well.
The manager that was ""training"" me (I would have been better off just learning things on my own) was showing me where to take garbage and a customer was walking towards us and he said, ""Quick lets go the other way so that guy doesn't talk to us. I hate it when the customers bother me they are so annoying."" Apparently he is not aware that without the customers that place would not be open and he would not have a job. In my mind the customers are the best part of the job, I love people and when they come up to me I greet them with a smile not an ""oh God get me out of here"" look.
Another manager flipped out over my handwriting (yes I said handwriting) apparently my 9s are the worst ever and apparently to him that is THE worst thing ever.
There's nothing posted and I did not even get a form about Code of Conduct (isn't it a law that every business has to have that). They treat their customers and their new employees like a piece of garbage and I refuse to be part of a place like that. I know jobs are hard to find but I would rather be broke than put myself through that again.
