Family Vision Clinic

I had a wonderful experience when I recently went to have my eyes examined. The staff at Family Vision was very knowledgeable and helpful. They actually took the time to talk to me and explain what was best for me with both my contact lenses and had a nice selection of frames and sunglasses. I ordered both eyeglasses and sunglasses and had them within a week as I was going to the beach and asked if they could be rushed. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone who would like a more personalized experience with very caring doctor and staff. more

We are very unhappy with this place. My daughter went to have her eyes checked, she asked beforehand if her insurance will cover the cost of eye exam, the front desk named Michelle said our vision and medical insurance will cover it because her complaint is a medical condition, my daughter thought it'll be free so she got the exam. Then they billed us the full amount of over $110 because they billed to the medical insurance instead of vision and medical won't pay anything. The OD Gresak wasn't friendly either. I feel this place just don't give a dam about patient, so greedy of making money and don't care ripping off patient more

if you are looking for an eye doctor, i do not recommend this place. i have had nothing but issues. they told me my glasses would be in, they never showed. said they would call, never did and got annoyed when i called to check on my glasses. when i finally got them they were chipped and they argued with me about that. sent them off again and when i finally got them back the second time, they were crooked. even though i have been back multiple times, they are still crooked and they said they can not make them better. when i said they were too tight and caused me head aches, i was told they would not move them because that was probably all that was holding them straight. more

At first I thought this place was great. Then I ordered a pair of glasses. I paid over $200 for them and was told they'd be in in 7-10 days. 12 working days later, I start calling to check on them. After 1 week of calling and them getting annoyed, I quit calling. Another week later I stopped in and miraculously they were in. Supposedly they'd came in late the day before and I was next on the list to get called. They were closing so I just took them and went. Within 3 days they were so crooked I could barely keep them on my face. I had also noticed a chip in the lense. I took them back and was told it wasn't a chip, but to check it out they'd have to send them off. They didn't have any trial contacts in my prescription so I was told that I'd have to buy contacts. I wanted one box of my regular (17/box)and was told they only had the step up from mine (30/box) and they only came in packages of 2 boxes (so $60). I had to have something seeing as how I am nearly blind, so I got them. My glasses were supposed to be back within 1 week, they'd call when they came in. Since they got annoyed last time when I'd call to check, I decided not to. I saw a girl that works there the day before and we talked for a few minutes. We're acquaintances. Well the next day I call and my glasses are in. They didn't call because they couldn't find my case. Which really makes no sense. I was told the lens' weren't chipped, it was a glare. They fixed the crookedness. I just wanted out. Again, they are crooked within a few days. Back I go. They fix them in the business. I tell her they are too tight behind my ears and making my head hurt. She said well that's probably all that's keeping them straight so we're going to leave it like that. Enough said, they will never get my business again. more
