The only reason the score is so high as a one start is because there is no negative stare ratings. If you find yourself considering them for medical care, I wish you well. If the Dr you see is a chubby Nurse Practitioner who's name I cannot recall, I would recommend you run for you life. I have been a patient of Family Care for some time. I went to the office a few weeks ago to get some refills for some prescriptions I have had with them for years. One of which was my blood pressure meds that I cannot do without. I also had a cold and was getting some meds for that. I am also trying to quit smoking and requested a Rx for Chantix, which is a new stop smoking drug, In addition to all this I take an anti depreciate that is prescribed by another doctor who prescribes that kind of medication.
All that being said this is what happened when I visited Nurse Betty or whatever her name is. I told her about the prescription from the psychiatrist, thinking a medical "professional" would respond with some amount of respect. Instead, she stood there with her mouth hung open in shock and acutely said to me, "Why would you need to go to a psychiatrist?" I gave her a dirty look and ignored the question because I need the meds I came there for and really did not have the option to get mad a leave. To make an already too long story short. She wrote me the Rx for the cold meds and the Chantix. When I got to the counter and looked at the Rx I noticed 2 things. She gave me one month of Chantix, which is a 4 month stop smoking program, and forgot my blood pressure meds all together. I said something to the girl behind the counter and she tried to help but Nurse Ratchet was already with another patient. I was told they would talk to her when she got finished insulting the patient she was with at that time, and they would call me to let me know everything was taken care of. They did in fact call me a short while later and explained that they had taken care of the blood pressure meds and the Chantix they "Always" On
