I have been a patient of Dr. Lee's for a long. I cannot remember the exact date that I started with her. I do know that in 2008 I had my cateract surgery on both eyes done and I go for regular checkups during the year. I recently had lasik surgery in both eyes for glacoma pressure. I think Dr. Lee is the best eye doctor around in the area. I have recommended so many people to her and they all love her and her professionalism, the excellent care of their eyes and the staff that work with and for her as well. I would not trade her for any other doctor. The staff are well trained and know what they are doing when they bring you back for your exams. more

Dr. Lee did cataract surgery with astigmatism correction...marvelous! Don't need glasses except for reading, and I can buy those over the counter. She and staff are great, always available and helpful and answered all my questions. more

I had LASIK performed by Dr. Lee in Aug 2012. I was very happy with the quality of care I received both during and after the procedure. Dr. Lee will now become my primary eye doctor in the future! The staff was very friendly and helpful - especially Melanie - and made sure that all my questions were answered and put my fears to rest! Thanks so much! more

I have been wearing reading glasses since age 40, but hadn't realized how my distance vision had deteriorated until the day I said to my husband, ""That's an odd vanity plate on the car in front of us"" He replied,""What are you talking about?"" ""Well, the owner must be proud that he finally has no more car payments since the plate says PAID."" He said I think perhaps you need to have an eye exam since the plate says 0216!!!\r Mr wonderful internist, Dr. Barbara Berdolt, recommended Dr. Lee since I'm a relative newbie to the area. To say that I was blown away with the courtesy, professionism, gentility and genuine compassion would be a gross understatement. \r Although I've had quite a few major surgeries, when Dr. Lee told me I needed cataract surgeries, I fell to pieces, I mean, really, the procedure sounds like some kind or Medieval touture or a nasty scene from a horror movie. Everyone in the office and at The Davis Surgery Center was wonderful in allying my fears and promised me that I would neither feel pain nor would I find the surgeries unpleasant. Both surgeries were a breeze and absolutely exactly as Dr. Lee and her technicians promised they would be. Believe me, they did a great deal of reassuring since I probably qualify for first prize for being the biggest wuss to ever enter the Clinic. They are all so comforting, friendly and wonderful that I can't thank them enough for all the grief I put them through. Dr. Lee gets a score or one zillion on a scale of one to ten!!! Dariel N. My experience at Dr. Lee's office was great! My eyes were very scratchy and sore, so i called the office and was given an appointment the same day! My wait was minimal and Dr. Lee and her staff were very knowledgeable and sincere concerning my problem. With the care and treatment i was given, my eyes feel 100% better and i will definitley go back! more

Dr. Lee’s clinic couldn’t have been any more helpful! From first time I stepped into the office I felt welcomed. The ophthalmologist assistants were friendly, professional and well informed. Dr. Lee was very attentive to my whole procedure from the preliminary tests to the post-surgery appointment. Everybody made sure that ALL my questions were fully answered. The communication between patient and clinic was superb! I always received e-mails and calls confirming my next appointments. The actual Lasik procedure wasn’t as scary as I thought it would be. I’m very satisfied that my vision has improved dramatically thanks to Dr. Lee and her clinic, where its number one priority was my vision improvement. more

I've worn glasses since I was 5 and always had a good experience coming back to Dr. Lee's office for eye exams and getting contacts. I recently took the plunge and had Custom LASIK surgery. Dr. Lee explained the risks and benefits of the procedure and answered my questions in detail. I've been practically blind for most of my life and now I'm seeing 20/20 in both eyes. I couldn't be happier. :) more

I recently had cataract surgery, opting for the multi-focal lense implant. I cannot believe the difference in my vision. When I open the door to see outside, I see a clear, beautiful world. I see colors better than ever before; I can read without reading glasses; nothing is like it was before my surgery. Dr. Lee did my surgery and did a terrific job. She was very professional and calming throughout my experience, explaining step-by-step the procedure. I never experienced pain and did not feel like anything had been done, but I now have 20/20 vision. Without reservation, I recommend Dr. Lee and the Eye Institute of North Carolina. more

I originally I had my doubts coming in, but when I left, I was ecstatic and immensely satisfied by the wonderful staff and an enormously helpful, and simply excellent, doctor. My eye exams there are quick, easy, and painless. I was wearing glasses for most of my life, but I really wanted to switch to contact lenses, so, with their greatly appreciated help, I am now wearing contacts and never want to go back to glasses! I have had great results with contacts, and their service is beyond anything I have ever experienced before when I come in to get more contacts or a pair of sunglasses. Their selection of frames is definitely one of the best in the area, even better than Wal-Mart (joking). I wholeheartedly recommend this as your first stop for everything eye-related. Pros: service, eyeware selection, staff, doctor, beautiful office Cons: none! more
