Everdry Waterproofing

I had Everdry waterproof my basement last fall, and even after all the heavy rains of the past two months, I have had no water in my basement. I had no problem with their salesman and their workers were polite and on time everyday. When they were done and as they showed we their work, I thought they showed pride in what they had done. I would, and have, recommended this company to several of my neighbors who have waterproofing problems in their basements. more

I have had the same exact experience with Everdry sales in Cincy. Their technique is to use scare tactics and should be considered unethical at best. The salesman had a rehearsed high pressure sales spiel but had very little technical knowledge. He filled out some kind of check list and when I questioned him on some of the items he could not back up the claim. Many of the times if I asked about specifics he could not give them to me and kept telling me that I would have to ask their foreman when the job was started. The least that a company can do is get a salesperson who knows what they are talking about. He ran around the house pointing out areas he thought was a concern in an effort to scare everyone when the issues were minor. He was literally in my home for 4 hours building a case as to why I needed their services. The guy was not knowledgeable or technical and I caught him in several mis-truths and embellishments. His tactics reminded me of a used car salesman. Who ever deals with this company need to beware of the high pressure, scare tactic, sales approach. I know there is a local, well known, radio personality in Cincinnati that advertises for this company who needs to be aware of there unethical sales techniques. I am sure he is making big money in return. He should be ashamed. They try to sell this ez-breath contraption that exchanges the air in the home. When I asked the sales person about the cost to run it he told me that it was only 40 watts. When I pressed him about the cost of the hot and cold air that it also blew out of the house, he denied that it would cost anything. After a little research about the ex-breath system it is just a fan that blows air out of the house. This air that it blows out comes from other locations in the house like cracks, crevices, chimney, dryer vent, bathroom vent, etc. You end up either air conditioning or heating the air and then it is blown out. What a waste of money especially if you have a older home that is not sealed very well to begin with. Do not let them convince you that you need it. There are much cheaper and energy efficient ways to exchange air in a home. more

This company started off trying to be like family asking where i worked.Expressed their love for the hobbies i had and asking alot of questions.Then ran around my basement with gadgets such as moisture meters that went off on everything they touched expressed their concern of mold that is growing behind my drywall?Their was no mold present on the walls!!!! I was concerned with the one area i had water twice this year they proceeded to talk about the other three walls and asking if i had water there yet which i told them no never then came the questions about the health of my children,do the kids play down here,do they have allergies yet?etc....the hole gambit. once we got up stairs they wanted to test my vents with a mold stick it turned purple OMG you should have seen the academy award winning act!!!! proceeded to explain the health affects to my children with the amount of mold found present in my ducts But wouldnt leave the alleged mold stick for me to have analyzed.At the end of the day thy wanted 19000.00 to fix one area of my basement....i must add they had to do the ebtire basement because my problem would move somewhere it has never been before if i only repaired the one area dropped their price 3000.00 if they could do the do my job tomorrow?????alittle different from the 90 day backlog they had minutes before...what a crock This was a gloom and doom sales pitch.....to obviously sell their product.something we should all be aware of considering our congress just pitched us a gloom and doom sales pitch for 850 billion dollars i felt the same way about both of these proposals thanks but no thanks!!!!
