I was a little upset that the quote i got the day i asked a price wad 560.00 the next day was 660 and final cost was almost 800 dollars. so to me.. i was charged dealers price. and whats the sence to try and save a little to begin with ? more

Chuck and CJ helped us figure out the cause of weird noises were coming from under the hood. They were also tracked down needed brake repairs and double checked warranties. Luckily, they were covered. They explained all the repairs clearly. more

I took my truck in to have the alignment fixed. My truck pulls harder to the right than before, now shakes at speeds over 50mph, & engine makes stress noise. I highly recommend NEVER going here again. I used to be a loyal customer here for years & the new management & service team or horrible. more

I broke down while on my way back to California, I knew nothing about these people other that they were AAA aproved and Napa also.I must say I made a very lucky choice, the guys at Evans where great, my problem was an intermitent electrical fault that I realize can be very dificult to diagnose but Evans who realized I was stranded pulled out all the stops for me even though they did not know me and must have realized that living in California as I do they would not be getting any repeat business from me and basically they could have charged me what they wanted as I was at their mercy. I am happy to report that these are very honest people and when I consider the time and effort they put into diagnosing and fixing my problem they probably undercharged me. I was there for a couple of days as they had to get a new relay for my VW sent from New Jersey, they drove me to a nearby restuarant so I could get lunch and then drove me to a hotel for the night and picked me up when my car was ready.If I lived within 20 miles of Evans Auto I would take my car there on a regular basis, as I do not I am hoping this positive revue encourages locals to give them a try, if any business deserves patronage because of their honesty, expertise and good old fashion service these are the guys.please feel free to use this testimony in any add or promotion you like. My experience with Evans Automotive Inc. has been great. I've been a customer of theirs for about 6 years now. I have gone there with several different issues, and each time I go down there, they'll fix the issue at hand, and if they find anything else that needs repair, they'll call and ask if I'd like it to be done before doing the fix. They always go above and beyond for me. more

The mechanics at Evans Automotive are NOT knowledgeable and perform shoddy work. I had my car in there early last year for a clutch replacement. Afterwards the car started making terrible popping noises. I took the car back less than a week later and they claimed they didn't hear anything and told me to bring it back if I kept hearing the noise. more

Evans immediately found the problem with my axle, correcting a misdiagnosis from a different garage. They got my replacement parts at a reasonable price and quickly fixed it when I was in a pinch. From what I hear, they are among the best in the Bountiful/North Salt Lake area. Pros: knowledgable and a technical expert; fair price Cons: off the beaten path more
