At Emerson Animal Hospital, Dr Emerson and Dr Frey are there to see your animal (and they do include exotics like birds, reptiles, etc). I much prefer Dr Emerson, though Dr Frey is very kind and good with animals. I have trusted them with my two babies (dogs) since I got them, and Dr Emerson saved my Shih Tzu's life when I first brought him home. He is caring and always willing to visit with me about concerns and questions. However, my next vet will be less traditional. Neither have a good knowledge of pet nutrition, as they recommend a very poor quality food (Science Diet) and sell it in their office. Their answer to some of our issues is usually more medication instead of working from the inside out - if you are a knowledgable pet owner who wants a caring and competant office to take your animals, they are a great choice. I especially love their office staff, who are always excited to see my animals. Their prices are very fair, and the waiting rooms are seperated by dogs and all other animals. I have been happy with the service they've given me, and Dr Emerson has never argued with me when I declined services or treatments and understood my reasons - he has always respected me and I appreciate that.
