Best

We had the petite taster's menu for $65. With soft drinks, tax and tip, it came out to about $85-$90 per person. Pros: food is great Cons: pricey but worth it

Worst

I don't mind spending money for a special occasion meal providing the food and the service are commensurate with a high-ticket entr?e. (about $40 per entr?e.) Pros: great mar...

What a DISSAPOINTMENT!!! 9/30/2002

Looked forward to eating here months in advance. The atmosphere is nice, but the service and food was a dissapointment. Servers (too many for a table of 2) were trying to figure out the utensils. Appitizzers (shrimp) had way too much BAM seasoning. Main meal came out too early and was served cool as we watched it sitting in the doorway to the kitchen. This was for lunch-$120.00 for 2. Not worth it! I can't imagine how thier dinner is served when it is probably more crowded with suckers like me. Pros: Atmosphere Cons: Bad Service, Poor Food, Overpriced more

A+++ 9/23/2002

My first trip to vegas we had lunch here. The beef and pasta appetizer was almost a meal in itself. The barbeque shrimp were perfectly seasoned and the banana cream pie is heavenly. We had dinner on our next trip and were equally satisfied. The clam chowder is delicious and the crab cakes are crispy and were perfectly complemented by the tartar sauce. I highly recommend Emeril's but if you want to save a little money, try going for lunch which was half the price of our dinner ($200 for two but WELL worth it). Pros: good food, large portions, excellent service Cons: too busy for romance, can be pricey more

Excellent! 9/17/2002

My wife and I had an excellent experience at Emeril's! The service was top notch and the food out of this world! My expectations were not that high going into it because of fears it simply had turned into a celebrity-chef chain restaurant, but Emeril simply knows how to replicate his success! The wait staff was great with multiple people serving us throughout the evening, while never hovering over us. The portions were huge, flavors well matched and dessert was a treat! Enjoy! Pros: spectaular food, excellent service, well priced Cons: bathroom down hall more

too noisy to be romantic 9/11/2002

good food but not a romantic spot, it gets too noisy Pros: unique fish dishes Cons: noisy more

NEVER AGAIN! 8/16/2002

EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTING. SERVERS MORE INTERESTED IN PLACING UTENSILS THAN FOLLOWING CUSTOMER REQUESTS FOR DRINKS AND FOOD SERVED. LONG WAIT FOR FOOD. FOOD WAS NOT HOT DUE TO SERVERS MORE INTERESTED IN SERVING ALL DINNERS AT ONCE RATHER THAN IN ORDER THEY WERE COOKED. PORK CHOPS HARD EXCEPT FOR CENTER. ONE STEAK SENT BACK 3X TO BE COOKED MEDIUM. HOW TACKY TO PUT YOUR SOUVENIR LIST IN DESSERT MENU. EMERIL BIG THUMBS DOWN!!!!!!!!!!!!! GET EXPERIENCED HELP EMERIL! Pros: NO UTENSIL SHORTAGE, AMBIENCE, LEAVING Cons: LONG WAIT FOR FOOD, SERVICE SUCKED, FOOD AVERAGE more

love is in the air 8/7/2002

Too Rich For My Tastes! 8/6/2002

Went to Emeril's restaurant while vacationing and was really looking forward to it. I guess I was expecting too much, but I was quite disappointed in the taste of the dishes. Everything was over-seasoned and I guess the cooks were ""Bam-Happy"" that night. Whatever it was, all three of us who dined there got sick to our stomachs afterwards. And there went our $200 tab.. right down the toilet! Pros: Great service, Good location Cons: Overpriced, Very small servings, Poor value for money more

Awesome Seafood! 8/1/2002

I enjoyed the pan-fried sole and the suggested wine was perfect. The assortment of breads was a nice touch. Service was exeptional and the atmosphere was perfect. Will definately be back! Pros: excellent food, good wine list Cons: bigger side portions, add a salad more

Bam! 7/26/2002

We ate at Emeril's while on our honeymoon and OH MY GOD.....the food was great! The clam chowder is still fresh in my mind. We even ordered an extra meal and put it in plastic containers to bring home to my mother-in-law. She savored every bite. I can't wait to go back. Pros: Excellent Choices, Great Service, Wonderful Experience more

Supoib! 7/24/2002

I did not expect this restaurant to be so good. I've been to Emeril's other restaurants in New Orleans, they were over-the-top. This one was just as good. The service is impecable, and very professional. We first sat at the raw bar for an hour or so, before being seated for dinner. There, the oysters were fresh and delish, and the martini was solid. Dinner, from begining to end was outstanding. I highly recommend Emeril's. Once you experiance the service, most other restaurants simply can't compare. The food was fresh and unique, and awesome! :D Pros: service, food, raw bar Cons: n/a, n/a, n/a more

Simply the Best 6/24/2002

My girlfriend and I went this past week 6/19/02. As we arrived our reservations were quickly retrieved. And we were sitted promtly after having a couple of Apple Martini's (EXCELLENT) at the bar. The wine list is the best I had ever seen and the waiters had excellent knowledge of the list. The crabcakes were to die for !!!! and the signature dish ""the barbeque shrimp"" was everything I had expected. The banana cream pie and ice box cream pie was the best I've ever had !!! The service was excellent !!! Without a question I will be back. I will recommend this place to all my friends. It is Simply the BEST !!! Pros: Wine list, SERVICE !!, atmosphere more
