If you want an herb, chances they have it. If you have an ailment, chances are there's a treatment for it. I have taken care of a number of ailments with the dried plants. I guess what I like best about Emerald Forest is that it's humble and effective. The owner is very kind, friendly and very knowledgeable. He is an herbalist and really knows his herbs. It just works. I had an upper respiratory infection that was going bronchial. (always does) The herbs I got stopped it in it's tracks! No antibiotics, no drugs. So, do yourself a favor. The owner is an herbologist who is also trained in Chinese medicine. He fills perscriptions for some of the Naturopaths in the City. He has assisted in selecting the herbs that have helped in clearing up mine, my husband, my daughter and friends various ailments. All I can say is, it works! He also carries a nice selection of teas, books, incense and has homeopathic products for humans and animals. Some things may take a bit longer to combat or clear up over just taking a pill. But you don't have to worry about the long list of damaging side effects like they announce on the drug commercials. I leave his shop more educated and satisfied every time. Well, there are a lot of things here in this shop. There's a nice Doctor. Some sort of Homeopath, I suppose. All he wanted me to do was bring my friend down and talk with him while I poked around and looked at the merchandise. I could take anything I chose, whenever I liked.
