Elysian Fields Massage & Spa

First, the atmosphere is great...just what you would expect from a spa. I had a pedicure and 90 min. massage. The pedicure went well, but the massage was terrible. I requested a female therapist (though the male therapist was recommended) and had the worst massage experience of my life. Though I requested a Swedish massage, the one I got was painful. I felt I'd been beat up for days afterwards...not the relaxing experience I'd hoped for. I would definitely go back for a facial or mani/pedi, but never for a massage. more

This spa is a hidden treasure located in Lone Oak which is part of Paducah, Kentucky. I've been to several other spas in Paducah, as well as many others in places like Lexington, Louisville, Cincinnati, Austin and Las Vegas, and this is by far the best! Don't let the building's plain exterior fool you. Once you walk in, you are in a very calming and luxurious atmosphere. The entire spa has the most beautiful and relaxing feeling. Lots of the rooms have candles and water foundations that instantly relieve you from your day. The services they offer are all-inclusive and I believe that they are the only ones in Paducah that do a Brazilian bikini wax. The prices are very reasonable and the service is great. The husband and wife team that own the spa are very interested in making sure you have the best experience. They are even known to make notes such as whether you like to talk during a massage or not!
