My movers were awesome. They arrived on time to my home in Chicago, wrapped all of my furniture with moving blankets – so all items were completely protected and they packed it all to the truck. At the time of delivery all boxes were placed into the right rooms, so it would be easier for me to unpack and the bigger pieces were unwrapped and placed in the right spot. During the waiting period for my belongings to arrive to Vegas I received and itemized summery by email and everybody in the office were very pleasant each time I called with questions or updates request. more

I used Elite Moving & Storage for my one bedroom apartment 11/19/11 move from Palatine to Schaumburg. I had never hired movers before but Elite completely surpassed my expectations. I was amazed at the speed and quality of service that the movers provided. They were extremely efficient yet very careful with all my belongings. They disassembled and reassembled my furniture with no problems. The move took no time at all and they were extremely professional and pleasant during the entire process. I have had no issues from start to finish.\r \r I will definitely use Elite in the future and I highly reccommend them to others. more

I wan guaranteed my furnisher will be delivered at a particular time and it didn't happen. i was told a lot of promises that the company had no intention on fulfilling. the absolute worst moving company ever. do not use them. they are scam artist. if i could rate it a negative one hundred i would. more

They were friendly, efficient, and totally affordable. I had a problem with the elevator in the building I was moving into and they were understanding and accommodating when I had to change my move. When I next move, I will definitely hire them again. more

Grade-A idiots. They took over a month, lost $2000 of our belongs, and destroyed several pieces of furniture. And they are jerks. Especially some pitiful little guy who works there named ""Kevin."" Don't uses these jacklegs. more

Awesome movers, very professional and efficient. We moved on one of the hottest days of the summer and they were very quick and careful with our belongings and did not even asked for a brake. I would definitely recommend this company to anyone, well worth the money. more

We had an excellent experience with Elite Moving & Storage. From the very beginning my rep was great at providing estimates and helping schedule a multiple location move into a single family. At the last minute our closing was delayed and we had to reschedule both of our moves. Elite quickly rescheduled our move and also arranged storage for one of our homes that had already been rented. The storage fee was amazingly low and we were very pleased with the customer service and professionalism of the team. \r \r Christian and hew crew continued the excellent service through our two moves. They took great care in moving everything - from my grandmother's piano to creating a special one of a kind crate to safely move a large, unique piece of artwork. In every aspect of the move our experience was excellent. We are impressed with everyone at Elite and very pleased with the price!!! \r \r We will definitely use them for any future moves and recommend them to everyone we know. I picked Elite Movers because my friend used them few weeks ago and was extremely happy with their serves and the cost seemed pretty fair to me as well. I was really happy with the speed and efficiency of the 4-man crew and tipped them very well for moving me out of my one-bedroom apartment into a much larger one-bedroom on the second floor (no elevator)! They worked quickly and made sure that everything was packaged correctly to ensure that nothing would get damaged. I was amazed to the amount of tape used, but it didn’t matter much as the tape comes free with the moving pads and they took care to ask me where I wanted everything at the new place. They did make it look very easy, I am impressed. \r more

Great Service: Me and my wife just moved out here from California and used Elite for this move. Both of us were so pleased with the service this company provided that I decided to write this review to let everybody know about them. The people were incredible ! ! ! On time, honest, very respectful to all my things, to my house and to us. They handled it great and when I’ll be buying the house next year I will defiantly call them for my move, this time just around the block. more

I had a wonderful experience with these movers. The price that I received was for 6 to 7 hours for my move, and I was absolutely ok with that. When the movers arrived they looked at my things and did give me a new estimate of 5 to 6 hours total. They wrapped all of my furniture with moving blankets and were very careful with my things while taking them down the stairs to the truck. The delivery was easy as I did move to a ground level unit and the entire move was smooth and without any floss. The moved end up finishing everything within 5 hours, that was very nice and honest as they could just take their time and just use the original quote as I already did agree to pay for 7 hours. I am very impressed with the honesty of the movers and the staff of Elite Moving & storage and will use them for all my moves. more

I never write reviews. EVER. But I felt compelled to alert the public in the Chicago land area about this company. You maybe distracted by there lower prices, but there is a reason. \r Also, I am very suspicious that the other posts are from the company themselves (self-promoting). \r \r They will ruin your stuff, like they did mine. Not following procedures such as not wrapping items, and generally cutting corners. Please, I am telling you, don’t listen to the other reviews, as they are not telling you the truth. This company is awful. Horrible. They cost only 95/hour, but have costed me $100's of dollars in damages, by not taking the proper care in moving items, and not following their own rules/regulations on moving items, such as not wrapping your precious items with moving blankets, in an effort to cut corners.\r \r This WILL happen to you, and don’t think it will not. It’s all nice when you talk to their reps on the phone, and make it seem like you are getting professional movers. You’re not. You’re getting non-English speaking people to move your stuff without regard.\r \r Why without regard? Because the claim process only guarantees you 30 cents/pound. So if they break your 50 inch TV you will maybe get $30, and again you have to go through a lengthy claim process. It’s not worth the risk; go with someone else besides this company. And the added insurance, is there ""fall net"", claiming you didn’t get the added insurance. Well if the company followed their own policies of wrapping items, you wouldn’t need it (unless it’s something like a grand piano, or something REALLY expensive).\r \r Bottom Line: Horrible company. Horrible customer support. And overall horrible job. Don’t be penny wise, pound foolish.\r \r This is my honest opinion on this company from my own experience. Please don’t go through the hardship I have gone through. They ruined a great MAJORITY of my items. Including ripped leather on couch, missing items, and broken off legs/stands for the furniture.\r more

I had a great experience using Elite Moving & Storage for my move to New York. They did provide me a free shuttle service at the pickup and the drop-off and saved me over $1000.00 by doing that. Both crews, at pickup and drop off were professional and handled my belongings with care. more

I moved last week with Elite, they gave me an estimate of 6 hours of work for my 2 bedroom apartment to be moved few blocks down the street. I was pleasantly surprised when they finished it within 4.5 hours as it is always nice when you have to pay less than expected. Everything worked out very well with the timing and with the quality of their work. more

I received many price quotes for my move and decided in the end to use Elite Moving & Storage as they seemed to be honest and very detailed in their explanations about the industry and my move. I am also satisfied with the way that my possessions were treated and the professionalism of the crew that picked up the items as well with the 2nd crew that delivered me. The office personal was knowledgeable and was there for me at all times. On each call I’ve made before scheduling this move I got very detailed information of what should be done and how things should be packed to avoid any damages and insure that the price will not change. I also was able to speak with my sales person after the pick up on more than one occasion and if she wasn’t available there always was a manager to answer my questions. My belongings are in a good condition after the delivery and I am not missing a thing. Well Done!\r more

I would like to thank Elite Moving on the outstanding job that they performed for me with my move. They not only kept me informed during the entire move but the moving personnel were polite and well qualified in the packing and moving of my items. I used the Moving Experts to transport items from Chicago to Los Angeles. Turns out they subcontracted my shipment to a company called Elite Moving & Storage. What did I get for my money, poor customer service, broken items, scratch and damaged furniture and missing boxes. What have they done to help locate my items, give me constant lies about some missing Manager named Joe. Since he can never be located I guess he is somewhere with my missing items. In any case. Beware of these people. \r \r If I had known they were going to subcontract my shipment I would have never done business with them.\r \r Plus, they used undocumented workers to unload my items. Only one of them could speak English. They call themselves a ""Professional"" moving company when they don't have one person on staff who is a professional mover. more

Initially I was supposed to move within Chicago area but I received a very good carrier opportunity in Denver. I used Elite Moving & Storage for that move. I was explained all the details of the move and what to do to avoid additional charges on top of the estimated cost. The move was done fast, including the delivery to Colorado, I was expecting a longer waiting time, but to my surprise all my belongings were in my new home within a week from the pickup. I will be moving again next year and will be calling them again. more
