Where do I start? We bought an SUV from Elite, and have had nothing but problems ever since. To make a super long story short, I'll say that the owner puts vehicles on the lot, knowing there are problems with the vehicles. Then the salesmen promise to fix things, yet you're given the run around and treated like a nuisance. We were told when we financed our vehicle that a fee of $1034 would be added to the cost of the vehicle because that's what our finance company does when they give a loan out, due to our credit situation. In fact, that was not true. We were told to tell our loan company that everything was fine with the vehicle, which we told them about all the problems, and the fee was actually the fee the dealer was to pay for the loan, so we were lied to. I personally visited the dealer atleast 10 times to have things fixed that should NOT have passed MD Inspection, such as a tire with 3 punctures, an exhaust leak, a broken hub assembly in the rear of the vehicle, and a headlight out. There was also an issue with the airbag light being on, panel lights out (for a/c, radio, 4WD features, etc). We realized we bought a used vehicle, but there were just too many things wrong with it. At first, when we were told everything would be corrected, we were ok with everything. But over the course of a month, we were jerked around numerous times. We'd show up to have something fixed, and the parts weren't there. Or they'd wait until we were there, and tell us we had to reschedule. We asked for the inspection sticker, and were told numerous times that they had to find it. I brought the vehicle in to have it serviced again, and they gave me a 'loaner' vehicle off of their lot to use for the afternoon. The airbag light was on it that vehicle, too. Later that day, they lent me another SUV for the night and the engine light was on in that vehicle. Every time I went there, there were other irrate customers waiting to have major issues fixed with their vehicles. There were always parts piled up around the owner's desk for customers that needed work done. And as I sat there, waiting on my vehicle, the phone rang off the hook from customers wanting to have things repaired. The salesmen agreed with us that vehicles were put on the lot with problems, and if a customer complained, THEN they fixed it. So inexperienced customers probably assumed a used car was supposed to have issues. One morning, as I waited for someone to show up at the dealer, I spoke with a man who was also having problems with his SUV and the customer service they weren't providing. He also said he was hit with the loan fee, which they slickly add to the selling price of the vehicle itself. We still don't have the airbag fixed, which could cause it to malfunction in an accident. We showed up to have it done, and were told once again that the mechanic was in the hospital and that there were no parts. It was on this, the 10th or 11th day at the dealer, that I got mad. The owner screamed at me and told me not to come back until the parts were in, despite his wife making the appointment for me to be there that day. He screamed and cursed and said he would not fix anything, and slammed the door behind me. We plan on taking further action against this dealer. So, if you were a friend or family member of mine, I'd say stay away from Elite Motors, unless you want to miss work, worry about your vehicle's safety, and pay a ridiculous fee that's supposed to be the dealer's, not yours. This used car dealership gives others a horrible name.
