Hi, I am Dave Torres, the owner and operator of Elite Fly Fishing and an experienced fly-fishing guide on the San Juan River. I offer fly fishing trips to ensure you have the best experience, perfect for your needs. I love meeting people from all over the world, and I make it my mission to provide memorable fly-fishing trips for my clients. When I’m not busy guiding, I spend time researching and exploring new opportunities to help keep my teaching fresh and relevant, which means returning clients will discover something new every time they fish with me. I started guiding in the early 90s and worked for Rizuto’s and ‘Born ‘N’ Raised,’ where I became one the most requested guides, also known as ‘Super Dave.’ I am a grandmaster of fly fishing the San Juan and a pioneer of the small midge patterns that have shaped the guiding culture of the river.
