Oh my God, I love this place! I think that I am addicted to the Ceviche. I wish this restaurant was in the Bay area so I could go every day. I love the prawns stuffed with shrimp and wrapped in bacon. Some of my employees drive to Reno just to eat here. None of us have ever been over charged or over looked. It is a comfortable establishment. The food is always made per order and the menu is gigantic. You guys that live in Reno are so Lucky! Oh, I am not Spanish and I do not speak Spanish and everyone is always nice to me and my order is taken correctly by the nicest waitresses that I know. Thanks to the staff. more

DO NOT VISIT THIS RESTAURANT!!!!! THERE IS NO AMERICAN THERE, I MEAN THE PEOPLE ONLY SPEAK SPANISH AND OBVIOUSLY DON'T LIKE AMERICANS. I KNOW THERE ARE HISPANIC AMERICANS, BUT NOT HERE!!! MY WIFE AND I HAVE TRIED THIS RESTAURANT A FEW TIMES IN THE PAST AND THE FOOD HAS ALWAYS BEEN GOOD, BUT THE SERVICE TERRIBLE. THEY OBVIOUSLY PREFER ONLY HISPANIC PATRONS, BUT MY WIFE DOESN'T SPEAK SPANISH AND FELT SHE WAS ALWAYS GLARED AT BY THE EMPLOYEES...BUT WE WENT BACK LAST WEEK BECAUSE SOMEONE MY WIFE WORKS WITH SAID IT HAS CHANGED. THE FOOD WAS GREAT! WE WERE GREETED BY A VERY ATTRACTIVE LADY THAT SPOKE ENGLISH!!! WE WERE DELIGHTED!! EVIDENTLY, THE NEW MANAGEMENT TEAM IS A HUSBAND AND WIFE AND I MUST SAY THEY ARE FANTASTIC!! THEY MAKE THE PLACE WORTH VISITING!! I CAN SAY WE SAW QUITE A CHANGE, WITH MORE NEEDING TO BE MADE WITH THE SERVERS, THE POOR GIRL SEEMED UNABLE TO HANDLE JUST OUR TABLE AND ONE OTHER, BUT I AM CONFIDENT THAT SINCE THE NEW MANAGGEMENT SIMPLY MAKES THE PLACE FEEL MORE WELCOMING AND POSITIVE THAT THEY WILL GET BETTER EMPLOYEES SOON! I WISH I COULD REMEMBER THEIR NAMES, THE HUSBAND AND WIFE, BUT IF YOU WANT TO FEEL WELCOME AND ALMOST LIKE YOU JUST WENT TO VISIT GOOD FRIENDS ASK FOR THE MANAGEMENT COUPLE!! THE LADY WAS SO REAL, LISTENED TO US AND NEVER ONCE ACTED AS IF WE WERE A BOTHER....SHE WAS FANATASTIC AND SPOKE ENGLISH!!!! GIVE THE PLACE WE ALL KNOW WITH THE BAD REPUTATION A WHOLE NEW CHANCE... HONESTLY, IT HAS FINALLY IMPROVED!!! NO LONGER THAT PLACE WITH THE GOOD FOOD YOU AVOID BECAUSE OF THE CRAPPY SERVICE AND UNWELCOMING ATMOSPHERE! GO IN LIKE IT IS SOMEWHERE YOU HAVE NEVER BEEN AND ENJOY.....JUST IGNORE THAT IN YOUR FACE MUSIC AT THE DOOR, IT IS TOO MUCH RIGHT WHEN YOU WALK IN, THAT GUY PLAYING, BUT OTHER THAN THAT YOU WILL HAVE A GREAT MEAL IN A COZY PLACE! I wish I could have given this restaurant 5 stars because the food is definitely worth all 5 stars, but unfortunately the atmosphere created by the staff doesn't deserve such a high rating. The place truly has excellent food, I had family here from back east and we went to check it out, the decor is great and the prices reasonable. The only problem was it seems to be a place only for people who are hispanic. We were the ONLY non-hispanics in the place....including staff!!! We were stared at and by observing the way hispanic patrons were treated, we definitely were NOT given good service. The young woman that seated us seemed to not even speak English, or perhaps just didn't want our kind there...that is what it felt like. I am disappointed though, the food was very good, but I guess some people just feel certain places are for only certain people and make sure to let it be known. If you are hispanic, I am certain you will love the food and the place .......we are Italians and really did enjoy the food, but we were so clearly not welcome. Pros: Great food.......nicely decorated Cons: Seem to only welcome hispanic patrons more
