Let me start out by saying that El Chico isn't really "authentic" Mexican food. However, you can get a pretty tasty meal there and the service is always good. They serve decent chips/salsa and their burritos and tacos are good and the prices are reasonable. They have a good kids' menu that includes tacos, fajitas, and even a hamburger for those kids who don't like Mexican food. The restaurant seem to be clean and the wait staff is always friendly and attentive. It's a good place to go for a quick meal if you are near the mall and tired of all of the other alternatives. Oh, and their hot apple pie is the best! If I could give it 3 1/2 stars I would but it isn't "great" so I stuck with 3.
