Stacey is the best. Her color skills are right on, her cuts are so relaxing I almost fall asleep, (and they look good, too) and she waxes my eyebrows and tints my lashes. One stop shop. She is required to never retire!! more

I love getting my hair cut by Stacey 7/28/2013

When I saw my colleague's haircut about 3 years ago, I immediately asked her where she got it done and she told me about Effects. I have healthy, thick hair that grows very fast. I love my hair and I am cautious about hair stylists. I trust Stacey completely and she has never disappointed me. I feel really lucky to have found her. more

Stacey has been my stylist for over 20 years. I can't recommend her enough. She knows exactly what to do with my impossibly fine, extra curly, hard to manage hair. She does a great job on my brows and eyelashes too. more

Stacey has been cutting,coloring,waxing and tinting me for a LONG time. She is the best and her coloring skills are top notch. She is great at everything she does. Every time I walk out of her shop I feel GREAT, and everyone always asks me "who does your color?" Stacey does..duh. Get in here and you will feel beautiful. more

I have been a customer of Stacey's for more year than I can count! She has also cut my boys hair since their first haircuts. They are 22 and 16 years old now. She has also done my up-dos for both my weddings and many corporate holiday events. Stacey is very talented and understands hair. She has always been great at trying new styles or just a simple trim. more

Carefree Hair!!! 3/21/2013

I've been going to Stacey for several years, and have always been happy with the results. For the first time in my life I can just run my fingers through my hair with gel and go with it--no styling or blow drying! The cut allows it to just fall into place, so it's perfect for my active lifestyle. I also love what she's doing with my color--using my gray and highlighting around it so that it is just one of my shades. I highly value her skills and sense of style! more

I have thick, curly hair and not all stylists know how to cut, treat and style this type of hair. Stacy also styles hair to properly frame your face. She is the artist of hair stylists, plus she uses environmentally safe shampoos, etc that don't contain the additives found in many salon hair products. Stacy herself is friendly and upbeat, so it's pleasant to be there on top of getting a good cut. I highly recommend Effects. more

I have very difficult hair to cut well. I'm not exagerating when I say that before Effects/Stacey I had never been able to find any one who I could rely on for a consistently good hair cut. But then I went to Effects and Stacey changed all that. I have been going to Effects for almost 5 years now and every time Stacey amazes me with a great cut and I love it! I HIGHLY recommend Stacey/Effects. more

I've been going to Stacey for a few years, and she's almost always been able to make my coarse gray hair look great. She understands that I do NOTHING to my hair, and she can cut it so that's just our little secret. She's flexible but will tell you if what you want won't work for you. She also does home visits and wedding/prom sessions. A great all-around beauty resource in Palo Alto! more
