really bad service 4/21/2011

I purchased a very expensive tile from them. They promised to have it for me by the end of the week. They never called to give me the delivery date. After two days of no communication I called and they casually told me it would be in the following week.....um.......had they told me that in the first place I would have never purchased it. I needed it asap. They didn't offer me an kind of compensation. It was a final sale so the customer service went out the window.I will never deal with this company again. more

Crooks who should not be in business 8/14/2009

I purchased tile from Pawlack's to remodel a bathroom. I put the charges on my VISA card. Nearly a month later, Pawlack's put another $500.00+ on my card without my knowledge. I noticed the charge the day after it was posted and called them immediately. They agreed that the charge was not valid or authorized and told me that the charge would be removed. I called several days later, because the charge was still showing on my card. They said that the only person who could remove the charge was the person who had put the charge on my card and she wasn't in. I called several days later and was told that all of the paperwork had been sent to accounts receivable. Several days later, I called again and was told that the person who was in accounts receivable was pregnant, my not be coming back and my paperwork may have been misplaced. I ask who was going to start taking care of the paperwork and was told that I needed to call and ask for Carol. I waited another few days, called and asked for Carol and was told that she was not in and they didn't know when she would be in. It has been over 2 weeks - -the money has not been returned, no one from Pawlack's had tried to contact me or apologize. The charge had to be deliberate, so I wonder how that type of thing occurs. Do they just pull customer files and make bogus charges? I was putting a lot of charges on my card at the time, in conjuction with the remodel. What if I hadn't noticed? Would I just be out $500? They indicate on their site that they have good customer service- - what a joke. At the very least, they seem to beinvolved in fraud/theft of some kind. more

Not worth your time and your not worth theirs!! 9/17/2007

After making 4 visits to their showroom, I wish I had a positive review since I live in the same city of Brea, but m I cannot tell a lie, I do not. They have failed to provide me with any form of customer service, noone attempted to inquire if i had any questions and I have basically been ignored by the entire staff. I noticed, at my last attempt on a Monday, 7-8 employees rushing around the office, ordering on the phones in front of their computers, and a few installing tile in the showroom. These installers where the only ones to at least say Hi when I walked by and they didn't even speak english!!I was there over an hour and circled the showroom 3 times,, no luck!! I am Hispanic and would hope In this day and age that I am not being prejudged??,, but I would stongly recommend visiting the tile stores in the Anaheim on St College over this joint!! Ed Pawlack Tile really has nothing to offer, they need to attend some Customer Training courses big time and prove that they really care about their customers,, Pros: None!! Cons: No assistance, be prepared to be ignored!! more

Great Selection, Go to Pete! 7/6/2007

This place has a really terrific selection of tile, travertine, porcelain tile and every kind of liner you can imagine. You can mix and match most due to the versatility of the selection. However, if you wish to purchase some tile, do NOT do your business through the lady at the front desk with the dark hair (I was unable to acquire her name), as we have found she has been RUDE to us several times. She is not capable with customer service and has made our visit there rather UNPLEASANT despite the frequency of our business as customers. You will receive alot friendlier help from Pete, the indivudal who I believe owns the establishment. He is rather helpful and kind in his business dealings. Pros: Great Help from certain individuals Cons: Poor assistance from certain others, more
