Eastside Transmission has done all the maintenance work on both of my trucks. They have also done transmission work in my muscle car, my fathers car, and my friends vehicles. I recommend them any chance I get. I travel farther just to use them. It is worth it. One time when they were working on my truck they ended up making a mistake. Their integrity was so high that they told me they made the mistake and fixed it right away. I was very pleased with the way they handled that situation. If they can handled little things like that I know they can handle bigger things even better. more

My transmission is so much like new;except, it makes more noise now than it did without reverse and it only cost me 3,000.00 dolares to get reverse repaired. Pros: null Cons: null more

Honest and quality work. 4/20/2012

Terrance from Eastside Transmission was a wonderful person to deal with. He is very knowledgeable and considerate of my needs. I bring in my work vehicles and personal ones because of the quality of their workmanship. He tells me when it's going to be done and it's done by then. I 100 believe he's honest and trustworthy. He offers a very fair price for their work. I highly recommend them. more

Dishonest Ripoff 11/11/2010

I had the worst experience with EASTSIDE TRANSMISSION. They advertise free diagnosis service, but that's a flat out lie. BEWARE. After leaving my car with them for transmission diagnosis they stuggled to figure out the problem with my transmission and asked to keep it overnight for futher evaluation. After leaving my car with them for 36 hours, they called me and said my car has no tranmission issue and said my car was ready to be picked up. When I arrived they attempted to give me a Bill for almost 1000 dollars that was a diagnosis charge to tell me nothing is wrong with my transmission. I tried to pry pricing out of them to get a ball park idea if my tranny needed replacing what that would actually cost. They kept on giving me the run around and not giving me any clear response other than saying it would cost upward of 4,500 for tranny rebuild. At the end they didnt charge me and I didnt pay, but the problem is they attempted to rip me off. more

If a transmission service is required we then change the fluid,clean or replace the filter,make all necessary adjustments,road test and final lift check for leaks.
