Son bought a 95 ford contour, and within 1st week car broke down, would not give him his money back, he put a large sum down to buy this car, for two more weeks they put him off and now they said it's fixed and he owes for half the repair plus the balance on the car. now it seems to me there is a law against deceptive sales practices, especially when he told my son in front of a witness they had drove the car and it drove great. And when a car breaks down right after you buy it within the 1st week you should be able to get your money back...I think the media should know about this...so it's made public not to buy a car from a dealer who cons people innto buying cars they know are going to break down, and sell them as is without letting people know what they are buying.
