Eastridge Apartments

Let me start off by pointing out that the only good review was from a college student on this site. The rest of the reviews are totally accurate. Maintance issues take forever and are frequently done wrong. The office staff is not only rude they are ABUSIVE. Residents have overheard other residents being yelled at. Laundry facilities work but frequently have washers and dryers that are broken for lengthy periods of time. CRIME is an issue! Bikes are stolen and parted out. Cars are vandolized and stolen out of the parking lot. Don't believe me call your vehicle insurance agent and ask him what 85282 zip code has as a premium rating. Check out crime stats on this area as well. The complex is noisy with lots of college kids. Apartments are older, cabinets, sinks and mirrors are chiped and in ill repair as they are painted over with latex paint and appliance paint in some cases. I really like the redecorating they do, including the painting over the light switches. Wood framed apartments which allow fumes including cigarette smoke to travel from your neighbors apartment into yours. When you report this management will tell you it is because your windows or door aren't sealed and its is coming from outside. My bathroom used to smell like an ashtray if I closed the door because the people behind me would smoke in their house. Parking spots are very narrow not allowing you to comfortably park a average sized vehicle especially towards the back of the complex. Spaces in the front are spacious I suppose because this is the first thing you see when you check out the complex. Trash recepticles for dog feces are left uncovered so you can smell waste as you pass by on the side walk. Airconditioners work very well but are VERY LOUD units. I suspect because they are older. Appliances in the apartments are old too. You can rent apartments in awatukee and scottsdale with more square footage and nice amentities for same exact price. No fitness center but you do get a membership to pure fitness for about 53.00 one time fee. Pure Fitness is kinda ghetto though but better than nothing I suppose. Grassy area has a lot of divits and hidden pot holes, so walk in the grass at your own risk as this poses a tripping hazard. This was caused from trees being removed and holes not properly filled in about three to four years ago. Yes residents have actually stated that others have gotten hurt by stepping into them and spaining ankles etc. more

I actually have lived here for two years and have had no problems what so ever. The staff is courteous and the apartments are very nice. Maintenance issues are handled quickly and efficiently. The price is not bad for a two bedroom so close to campus. I have made a lot of friends around my age(27) that also live in the complex. I don't ever feel "unsafe" even coming home in the wee hours of the morning. more

When I first moved to the valley I lived at these apartments for a year. They are older apartments and some areas are not kept up well. There is not a lot of security here either which is a big problem. I know people who still live here and the managment changes so often they cant keep anybody in the position for a significant amount of time. I had to have a lot of things fixed while living here because they kept breaking. The price of rent was affordable but it was lacking so much more. more

I used to live here for over a year and I would not recommend this place to anyone. They are older apartments which is not that big of a deal. But the amentities included are nowhere near that of nicer places. They have a laundry mat on site but it is a hassel to not be able to do laundry in the comfort of your own home. The management is not very approachable atleast when I lived there. We had a lot of problems here. Crime was also a big issue when we lived here. People would knock on our doors in the middle of the night trying to sell us stuff. It just was not a really pleasent place to live. more

I lived at Eastridge for a year. I was not too happy with them. They are much older apartments that come with a lot of problems. We constantly had to get things fixed which was a pain. When the maintenance people fixed stuff they did not do it right the first time. Managment was kind of rude to. Plus I had a car stolen here twice in a month. more
