I happen to be out of the country when the ac broke and my wife handled the situation based on some recommendations. The bill was significantly over the price of the item replaced. I was shocked. I asked the lady to a least give me a break with the ""travel charge"" (since there were plenty of deals going around such as groupon) but to no avail. I have worked with other companies that have been very reasonable. I am just trying to offer a good balance so people know the facts before making any assumptions as per previous reviews. more

I recently used Eastergard after pricing several companies for a furnace repair. They had the best price by far. They were able to schedule the repair for the following morning. The technician showed up on time and was very polite. He was very helpful and answered any questions I had. Eastergard is an honest and professional HVAC company. I will definitely be using them again. more

Eastergard Hvac, Inc. Delivers Competence, Professionalism 3/5/2009

When our furnace failed during a snow event, we called Eastergard Hvac, Inc. to take care of it. We were very impressed by their fast response, by their professionalism and their diligence. Within minutes, they identified and corrected the problem and had our furnace running again. Would we use their services again? Yes. Would we recommend them to others? Absolutely! Pros: They find what's wrong and take care of it. They don't try to "sell" you stuff you don't need. more

Since 1992 6/6/2008

Our family has used Eastergard HVAC going on 16 years. With a large family there is plenty to keep our HVAC busy year round. Someone always answers the phone when we call during, and sometimes after, business hours. Eastergard does not just fix the problem they also explain what happened, how to prevent recurrences, and are very reasonable in billing. more

The best HVAC service anywhere - honest, knowledgeable, open, communicative, on time, and fair 4/20/2007

I've been doing business with Eastergard for several years. They've repaired my HVAC unit several times and, each time, the work has been outstanding. The technicians are on time. If they're delayed, someone from the office calls to let you know. Once they're there, you barely know it - they are unobtrusive. Once they've evaluated the problem, they tell you in detail what needs to be done and why. They're honest when something is going to be expensive. When the work is finished, the technician explains every single thing he did, which is usually above and beyond what is required with no additional cost. Eastergard is the only company I will ever use for all of my HVAC needs! Pros: Will call when they're running late, unobtrusive, knowledgeable, open and honest Cons: Absolutely nothing! more

Exceptional service for more than I deserved 7/22/2006

I had Eastergard HVAC checked / repaired my house AC twice in the past. Two days ago, my AC wasn't cooling. With no doubt, I called them again since they had done a great job twice in the past. This time, the AC broke at a most worst timing; I am getting married in a week, busy, and my family is coming in town. Eastergard wasn't able to come on Friday because many people were having AC problems during these hot days. He called me on Saturday morning and put me on the highest priority (as over-flowed customer from Friday.) I was concerned if I would have to pay for weekend "emergency" service. He came around 11 AM, identified the problem immediately. During our chat, I found out that he worked until 10 PM the night before. And, he found out that I was getting married in a week. Make the store short, he gave me the service FREE, as a wedding gift. How amazing how God works among His people! Praise Him. I didn't expect that because he has a business and this is how he make a living. On the professional side, he was able to ID the problem in a heart beat.
