I've been seeing Dr.Carlson for a couple of month with my 2nd pregnancy. He and his nurse are amazing! They take the time to talk and answer questions. He's not always prompt with the appointment times but its worth it with how much one on one time he gives. His nurse is a sweetheart and she's always returned my phone calls. The reception staff however is a different story. They don't seem to listen when you tell them when your doctor recommends a time to come back. To call you have to have at least 30 minutes to wait on hold and deal with people who are inept. I won't let the bad scheduling sway me away from Dr. Carlson. I am thrilled to have chosen him for my pregnancy/ delivery. more

Dr Clark is one of the worst doctors I have ever had the misfortune of seeing. I have never felt so mistreated by a healthcare provider. In my personal experience I think he missed the mark on numerous occasions regarding my fertility treatment and his bedside manners are the worse I have seen. I would not recommend him to any woman. more

Having a fertility consult with Dr. Clark was like meeting with a used car salesman, and he charges you $300 to do it. On top of that, his staff failed to provide us with the most current information, so our bill for the procedure was almost 3 times what their estimate said, all of which had to be paid out of pocket. The receptionists were insensitive to our family situation, and absolutely confused by the idea of a woman being a lesbian. They are a women's clinic...I'm sure a few have been in there before. more

I saw Dr. Ackerman with my first baby and will see her for my next. I loved her! Very sweet doctor. I did see Dr. Ahmed a time or two and thought she was great also! I would highly recommend either of these doctors! Nurse Marcy was also great. Pros: Understanding to my concerns and helpful. Cons: Sometimes the receptionists were moody more

Worst Doctors Office I have ever been to 12/7/2009

What an awful office! It was a bad experence all of the way down to the hand writing of the office personel..seriously. I called to tell them I didnt receive my new patient packet in the mail, they told me it was returned as no mail recepticle at my address. They were nasty! I told them that was impossible, verified the address with them, then they re-sent the packet. I received it a few days later and the original handwriting was sooooo horrible that you couldn't even read it! So I got treated like garbage because they couldnt write. I continued to see them, Dr. Ahmed seemed nice. EVERY experience with the reception was a nightmare! They were rude, ignorant, ignored me while in line, never smiling, always short and nasty. The restrooms smelled like urine, you cant write on the urine testing cups so who knows if they mixed up my urine with someone elses?? The billing is a mess too. They never billed my insurance for the visits, but they made a ""guesstimate"" of what I would have to pay by the time baby was born based on what they ""thought"" my insurance would cover, then billed me in monthly installments without EVER billing insurance?? Is this normal now? I didnt have any proof that what I was paying them was what I would really owe them after my insurance was billed. OH, they also called me EVERY month to cancel my appointments and re schedule. Why even make them in the first place? Literally every single month, the week before my appointment, they changed it and wanted me to see any random Doctor in the place. THANK GOD I HAVE MOVED! I am not in the area anymore and was going to switch providers anyway. I would never recommend this office to anyone. They dont deserve even one star, but i had to give a rating. Cons: almost everything more

Dr. Clark 10/27/2009

I had the worse experience with Dr. Clark. I lost 3 babies due to his lack of concern. I was in my late 30's and he would not see me on each of my pregnancies until I was 10 weeks along, due to his office policy. I found out later from one of his nurses, that he could have given me a progesterone shot to help. His bedside manner is deplorable, as he showed no remorse other then to say, I am too old and he cannot help me. Told me to go to Portland for help. Cons: Dr. Clark more
