DON'T BE FOOLED BY THE SPAMMERS! 5/11/2011

Centennial GMC Buick has a long history of setting the gold standard in quality & customer service. Now, in less than 1 month, there has been a sudden 800% growth in negative feedback! Even despite the best efforts of this disgruntled employee, Centennial's reputation stands for itself, with positive reviews out-numbering spam 4 to 1! Real customers aren't fooled. If you believe you were wrongfully terminated then you should plead your case to the owner or move on with you life. This is childish. more

i have been dooped for the last time by them 5/9/2011

2/11/11 been going to service at this dealer for many years now and scene there ups and downs, downs meaning now looking like ther going to close down completly. well threw the years i have been listing to a person there in service telling me i need to do this and i need to do that on my yukon truck. one day i was stuck on the other side of town and went to henderson gmc dealer desert and while they were fixing my vehicle i was talking with the service person there and was telling them how i was suprised my vehicel broke down and why i was suprised is cause i have done just about every service there is to do and the person told me my vehicle was great cause i was doing them. well while i was telling this person what i did service wise he was replying to me was did i do those repairs. well i told him the lady a centennial gmc told me these services were over due and really needed to be done. me being a person who doesnt know anything about cars okeyed the service cause i didnt want any issue in the future. well he asked me what did i do, told him a transmisson service which was $275 last month, he replyed to me your vehicle is 3 years 2 month old with 38,000 miles on it you dont do a trans service till 100,000 miles our 6 years which ever comes first. i also told him i did the coolant at the same time for $125.00. the person than told me that the yukon comes with a coolant called dexacool and you dont service that till 100,000 also. well at this point i was starting to get upset but was still trying to undstand why she would sell me this things if they are not needed. i asked is it cause we live in the desert and its really hot that she told me to buy these things well he replyed back that that was a bull@@@@ lie that most of the bad service writers would use. and if any service writer today was using they are telling you a lie. there is no such thing and the desert climate needing to service your vehicle early, he said maybe at the most 10,000 early but for shore not 50,000 to 60,000 miles early. i also told him how my brakes were done and some other services they did and he basically felt i got took by centennial gmc and buick. and that all that stuff was not needed now and it would be long time in the future till i needed it. i paid $580.00 for brakes front and rear at 32,000 miles. i came in for an oil change and the women said i needed to replace them asap our i would have to buy disc at another $600.00 in cost. the guy at desert said the brakes on a yukon will last at the least 50,000 miles and that was the least. he felt there was no way at 32,000 miles i would need brakes replaced. he said the normal time for brakes is around 70,000 miles. all in all its my fault for just listing and trusting this person there at centennial gmc, i should have done my home work on it first. my lose of money and its there lose of a customer. 5/8/11 i went to the general manager regarding my issue with the above statement about how i feel i got took. also told him how i left over 5 messages and 6 emails on his service managers phone and computer with what my issue is and he never once called our returned my email back. me and this person talked for about an hour and i explained to him my issues with what they did there by lieing to me and taking advantage of a good customer. 5/8/11 the general manager called me today and agreed to refund me my money on all the service work but not the brakes. he said he can understand why i was upset about finding out why someone lied and sold me service that are not due for a long time from that point but the brakes he cant see the old parts so cant tell if they really needed them are not. but i am thankful for a manager that understand and took care of business but i wonder how many other people have been lied to by centennial gmc. and lost out on money cause of them. more

drive past this dealer on to the next!!!!! 5/5/2011

if you are buying a car here its ok there fine there. but service get ready be ripped off in the worst way, no lube. they will lie cheat and steal from you. they would lie cheat and steal from there own mother if that helped them. i have had a few run ins with the women in service there and 3 times i have caught her in a few lies, well after talking with her boss the manager and seeing how stupid he is l will never return there and l will make shore everyone in las vegas knows that they are liers and cheats and conartist. people if you go there its at your own risk. be aware of them and there tricky was of lieing and cheating you out of your money. more

poor service, better at cadillac 5/4/2011

had been dealing with service and the lady who writes service there. she is the worst. she never returns phone calls. always has a boat load of upsales that the car doesnt even need yet. when she is caught in a lie our called out about being conartist like she plays dumd and pins it on the techs who work there. she is always yelling at the people around here. that store needs new help. she is a big reason why they dont have business. a store that employess a person like that must be the same type of person. there are other places you can go and not be lied to. this place is nothing but liers and conartist!!!!! you have been worned people!!!! more

dont go here for service.and the lady in service 5/4/2011

l was reading some of the reviews below and one jumped out at me. i have been going there for about 2 years now for service. the person they are talking about i too have had to work with this person. the person belowe is right she never returns phone calls, she does yell alot at the people who get the cars washed and brought up to you. l have not had to deal with her on the sales part cause my vehicle is under warranty still but l was in the lounge area and there was a older lady there talking with her husband on the phone and she was saying how she doesnt and didnt trust the women. that every time she deals with her its like she is trying to take every penny the women had. the husband told her apparently to take the vehicle out and go to the chevy ... and one jumped out at me. i have been going there for about 2 years now for service. the person they are talking about i too have had to work with this person. the person belowe is right she never returns phone calls, she does yell alot at the people who get the cars washed and brought up to you. l have not had to deal with her on the sales part cause my vehicle is under warranty still but l was in the lounge area and there was a older lady there talking with her husband on the phone and she was saying how she doesnt and didnt trust the women. that every time she deals with her its like she is trying to take every penny the women had. the husband told her apparently to take the vehicle out and go to the chevy dealer that was less than a mile away. he said he felt that they had enough of courtesy and there not so courtesy people they have working there. l think once my car is out of warranty i to will try the chevy dealer. they work on the same engines in there vehicles should have no problem fixing mine!!!! more

bad bad service 5/4/2011

l live in the centennial area and there is only one dealer out this side of town that is for Buick and thats courtesy, they also work on Gmc and some other products but l dont worry about those. When i bought my buick from them it was great, sales man was easy and finance was easy going also. i would buy from them again. but service. thats a hole different game. that place is like a crab shoot. you never know who your going to get and work with. there is a nice man that works there and a older gentel man that i have never worked with either, but the women i think her name is cherly she is terrible. people if you are going to set an appointment for service there and they set you up with her our she picks up the phone ask for someone else. she is rude and very dishonest with people. l have had 3-4 times i had to work with this person and everytime i ... only one dealer out this side of town that is for Buick and thats courtesy, they also work on Gmc and some other products but l dont worry about those. CAUTION: DO NOT GO THIS DEALERSHIP 4/28/2011

If you go to this dealership wanting to purchase a vehicle (whether it be new or used), be prepared to pay huge extra add on fees. They will add on BS fees of around $2,000 (in addition to taxes). I'm sorry but do they really need to charge $2,000 for restoration fees for a 2010 car with less than 15k miles? Documentation fees? Destination fees? Someone dropped this car off as a trade-in for goddness sake. You pretty much just need to look the care over and put it on the lot. A destination charge for what? How much do the "documents" really cost them? THIS PLACE IS A RIP OFF AND THEY KNOW IT. I'm give them until the end of the year before they go out of business. They just don't know how to make deals. Unethical and unprofessional. You've been warned... more

Were very glad we came back here 9/28/2010

We purchased a used Cadillac Escalade from Gary Hopkins in January of this year. Our family was looking to make the move to a larger vehicle and Gary helped us find the perfect used car. We had purchased another vehicle from Gary a few years back and the experience was extremely positive. When he discovered us wandering the car lot we were relieved to see a familiar face and knew our experience was going to be wonderful with Gary. The process was easy and we are very happy with our Escalade. In addition, Brotherton in general was a very professional and friendly dealership. Thank you Gary for helping us find our new "used" car and we will come back to Brotherton the next time we are in the market for a vehicle. more

I will definitely recommend Brotherton to all my friends. 9/27/2010

In January 2010, I bought a 2005 Chrysler Pacifica from this dealership. I really enjoyed working with Brandee Miller, Tom Gloster and Jade Wolters. I never felt at any instance that I was being pushed or forced to make a decision I was not comfortable with. Tom was very patient and flexible. He was so nice that he let me take the car (used car) for a whole day so that I can show it to the mechanic. He did not even ask for any collateral. Brandee & Jade were very prompt in getting back to me. I will definitely recommend Brotherton to all my friends. more

they went out of their way 9/16/2010

My wife and I had a problem with our air conditioning. They could not get the required part until the Monday after I took it to them. They went out of their way to get me a loner car for us until they could repair the AC. They have a shuttle service that will pick you up and drop you off from office to home. more
