Earl's Drive-In

I would suggest if you are from out of town you do not eat here. Three tables that were seated after us were waited on first because they were “regulars”. We had to get our own menus, it took us 20 minutes before the waitress even came over to ask us what we wanted to drink. After about ½ hour we got our drinks, our food took over an hour to come out and when it did the waitress said it was going to be at least another 10 minutes for the kids food because they forgot to make it, not to mention my food was made wrong. When we told our waitress we were less that satisfied with the service we were receiving the staff stood about 5 feet from our table and whispered about us and stared at us. When we got up to leave the MANAGER of the restaurant was taunting us, making smart remarks toward us, and staring at us. The food wasn’t all that great either. By far the MOST unprofessional staff I have ever come across, they should be ashamed of themselves. more

The broasted chicken is good, the steak was asked to be cooked medium/well-done and came dripping in blood. The fries were cooked in old grease and were soggy. The main thing that was a huge turn-off was the rude and grumpy waitress who yelled at me when I didn't decide what I wanted quickly enough for her. She then snatched the menus out of our hands while we were still looking at them and told us that the restaurant closed at 7pm even though we were there in good time. She never came back to check on us once or refilled our water. We would have been happier if she would have at least taken the steaks back to cook them a little longer and exchanged our dinner rolls which were soaked in blood. It was Mothers' Day and I was sorry that I took my mother there. Next time we'll try the Italian restaurant down the road. After hearing how great Earls is we had to stop. First the service was poor, leaving us standing in the middle of the restuarant for 20 minutes before being seated. Unless you are a ""regular"" you are ignored! We had lunch which was average, and had to try the famous pies. Nothing to rave about, the crust was very heavy. After months of driving by again we decided to give it another try, (anyone can have a bad day) This was even worse. Same service, waiting forever to be seated, filthy restrooms and of all things salty chicken. I can understand the breading being salty, but the meat? Didn't even take it home for the dog!
