IM AT EASE WITH EAGLE TRANSMISSION 10/9/2012

EAGLE TRANSMISSION IS A GREAT PLACE TO GO IF YOU ARE NEEDING WORK ON YOUR TRANSMISSION. AT LEAST THE TRINITY MILLS LOCATION THAT I KNOW OF. THEY ARE REASONABLE, HONEST, AND GREAT WITH CUSTOMER SUPPORT. WES HAS HELPED ME A GREAT DEAL, CONSIDERING WITH THE FLAWS OF NISSAN XTERRA'S HAVING TRANSMISSION ISSUES, DESPITE NUMBER OF TIMES I HAD TO TAKE MY VEHICLE BACK (NOT BECAUSE OF EAGLE TRANSMISSION BUT BECAUSE OF FAULTY NISSAN PARTS) THEY WORKED WITH ME AND CONTACTED NISSAN AND REPLACED THE PARTS WITHOUT COST. I NEVER WROTE A REVIEW ON AN AUTO SHOP. SO FOR ME THATS A GOOD DEAL more

The Carrollton location is where I go for all of my auto repair needs. I've used them before for brakes, a 30K mile check-up and other maintenance and receive superior work and customer service time and time again. The owners are community oriented, family- focused and do not hesitate to do whatever it takes to get the job done right. If you live in North Texas or the Metroplex, this is the shop to use! more

No body would help 5/22/2010

I was recommended to Eagle Transmission in Carrollton because of there customer service. I had tried several shops and know one wanted to tackle my over heating problem. Wes told me no problem! I left me car there for about 4 days and they finally found the problem. It was a combination of things but the best part is they told me that it would be around 300-400 to fix. When I picked it up the bill was lower than the 300.00. The have made a customer for Life! I am going to have them do my transmission next and found out they can even finance my repairs for me! Thanks Guys! more

Very good customer service. 4/26/2010

Eagle Transmission was local to Carrollton and well established, which was why I decided to use them. They have been around for a long time. Their customer service was very good. I called around to a few different shops and they were the quickest to respond and return my calls. Eagle Transmission was friendly, prompt, and kept me informed. They would call every day and let me know what was going on with the car during the transmission rebuild. Also, their hours were good. They were open on Saturday, so we could pick up the car then. Main mechanic was more knowledgeable than the one who worked on my transmission. 4/23/2010

I saw Eagle Transmission's ad in the Yellow Pages, which was why I decided to use them. They treated me good and the main mechanic was knowledgeable, but the one who actually worked on my transmission might not have been as knowledgeable. They rebuilt my transmission and it took longer than I expected. I had to bring it back 3 times for them to resolve an issue. Also, the actual cost was not even close to the estimate they gave me. They had told me what it was going to cost in a "worst case scenario" situation, but I understood that it was not going to be that bad. more

Very good customer service. 3/31/2010

The transmission on my car was basically gone, so I found Eagle Transmission on the internet and decided to call them and see what happens. I dealt with the owner, Wes, and he was quite professional. He explained everything clearly and and he actually removed the damaged part and showed me the problem. I was impressed by that. Wes is a very knowledgeable technician. He thinks logically and takes the necessary actions to fix the problem rather than to charge you more. He thinks like an MD who diagnoses what is wrong with a patient. And Ginger also has very good customer service. more

I have already recommended Eagle Transmission in Carrollton. A friend referred me to them, which is why I went there, and they completely rebuilt my transmission. Their customer service is excellent. Fair and honest. 2/26/2010

Eagle Transmission in Carrollton initially replaced the transmission pan in my vehicle. Afterward, I noticed a leak and took it back to them right away. They were fair and honest, and they took the time to go through the entire system and make sure that the issue was corrected. They rectified the problem, which had to do with another part, and verified that everything was in good working order. more

Honest, upfront, qualified, and responsive. 2/23/2010

I was looking for a local mechanic that did good-quality work, and decided to use Eagle Transmission of Carrollton based on my research. I looked at the BBB reports and, when I called Eagle, they were knowledgeable, so I gave them a try. The first problem I had with my vehicle was very strange and the mechanics at Eagle thought that it might be caused by a weak battery. They replaced the battery, which fixed the problem. The second issue had to do with a locking mechanism on the driver's-side door, which they also resolved. The people I worked with at Eagle were honest, upfront, qualified, and responsive. R.F. more

Eagle Transmission is great. They fixed my car and it is running well. They even called and offered me the opportunity to come see the transmission as they were putting it together, which I thought was cool. The put good parts in the new transmission and it is even stronger now than it was before. more

Fine job with transmission rebuild. 1/20/2010

This was my second experience using Eagle Transmission - Carrollton. The first time I used them, they were under a different owner. This time, I went in thinking that I just needed to have the transmission fluid changed. It turned out that the car needed a complete transmission rebuild. I think that Eagle did a fine job. I really liked the mechanic, who in this case was the owner, and I was very happy with the repairs. The work was done correctly and I have no complaints. more

Trustworthy and helpful in working with me on payments. 12/30/2009

Eagle Transmission - Carrollton was able to work with me on payments when I had to have my transmission rebuilt. Being in a financial bind because of the way the economy is right now, I really appreciated the way that Eagle helped me out. Ginger kept me up to date on how everything was going and helped me set up the payments. Having someone you can trust in a situation like that was a big deal to me. I had never had an experience with a company so willing to work with me. Everything turned out well and my car is running just fine. more

Pleasant experience. 12/21/2009

Eagle Transmission rebuilt my transmission. Only the outside casing is the same...everything else was redone and my car is running well. I decided to use their service after speaking to Ginger, who was personable and easy to talk to on the phone. My entire experience with Eagle Transmission was very pleasant. They were upfront and honest in the beginning about the work that needed to be done and what it would cost. They kept me informed, did exactly what they told me, and got my car back to me quickly. A good shop like theirs is hard to find. 12/1/2009

Someone told me about Eagle Transmission - Carrollton and said that they were good. I was in the market for a new mechanic, so I decided to try them. They have since done a lot of work for me and I actually bought a car from them as well. They put a new motor in the car and it runs well. I continue to use Eagle because they do a good job and they are flexible as far as getting my car back to me when I need it. A good transmission and auto repair place like the Eagle shop in Carrolton is hard to find. more

Very pleasant and accommodating. 11/23/2009

Eagle Transmission had donated a gift certificate to my son's high school band for someone to come to the shop for auto repair work. We took my son's car there and had a great experience with Eagle: They were very nice and accommodating, and we needed them to be. I worked with Ginger, who was very pleasant and helped coordinate with 3 different people on our end in terms of picking the car up and getting it paid for appropriately. Everything was handled beautifully and the work was taken care of quickly. So far, the car has been running well. We were very pleased with Eagle Transmission. more

They were there when I needed them. 10/26/2009

I had an awesome experience with Eagle Transmission. I was impressed with their response from the beginning and I appreciated their honesty when the problem turned out not to be the transmission. My car had broken down in a No Parking zone in front of the school where I had just dropped off my daughter. I initially called a couple of mechanics that gave me bids. When I called Eagle, however, they knew that the first thing that needed to be done was to tow my car out of the No Parking zone. I spoke to Ginger, who sent someone out immediately to pick up the car. I thought that the problem was my transmission but when they looked at the car, it actually was something else that needed to be repaired. The work that they did was excellent and cost much less than if it had been the transmission. I definitely recommend Eagle Transmission because of their honesty and service, which was very personal. What more could you ask for? more

Great experience, very helpful in explaining everything. 10/23/2009

I first used Eagle Transmission for some repair work on a car that I bought for my son. I had had a bad experience at the dealership, so I went to Eagle and they were very helpful. They did a good job fixing the car. Most recently, I had them rebuild my transmission. The owner of the shop, Wes, took me out and showed me what was wrong. Again, they did a good job: it was fairly quick and very thorough. Everyone I have dealt with at Eagle Transmission has been very nice and helpful. They call you back to tell you how much the work is going to cost and explain everything to you. I have not had any problems with the vehicles since they did the work. more

Able to handle a more-difficult-than-expected request on a transmission. 10/19/2009

We decided to use Eagle Transmission because we needed specialized work done on our transmission. We did some research as to which auto shops in the area could do the work, and that is how we found Eagle. We needed to have our transmission beefed up in order to pull to heavier loads. Eagle was able to go above and beyond the standard transmission job. We have not had any problems with the work that they did for us. Eagle Transmission provided excellent service overall. We would definitely recommend them. more

Reliable and courteous. 10/16/2009

Eagle Transmission was fair and honorable. They replaced my transmission and did a great job. I am very satisfied. I had initially taken my vehicle to another transmission service company and paid for the service, but they did not fix the transmission problem. After taking it back there for the fifth time with no resolve, my husband suggested that we try Eagle Transmission. We researched Eagle and liked what we saw. It was obvious that this was the place to go. They knew what they were talking about. They got the job done when they said they would and their estimate was accurate -- the price was exactly what they said it would be. They even did a little more work and did not charge me for it. I would definitely recommend Eagle Transmission. They are reliable and courteous. more
