Simple, Free everything, worth it! 8/18/2005

If your looking for a free-everything, no frills place to do your banking, Eagle is the place for you! They have locations in the Medford Johnny's Food Master that are open both saturday and sunday and late hours, so its very convenient to locals. Their checking accounts are REALLY free, no hidden fees like the bigger companies. Even though they are a smaller bank, they do offer online bill pay (free!) and online account management (also free!) They have a great little Christmas club option, too. The only down fall to this place is that it IS a smaller bank and although the staff is professional and eager to keep their customers happy, their are certain things that bigger banks are privy to tht Eagle just can't touch. For instance, if you lose your Debit/ATM card, it takes TWO weeks to get a new one. PROS: Free everything, convenient locations and hours CONS: slower in a few areas than bigger banks more

  • One constant over the years has been and continues to be the Banks mission of providing quality service to all Eagle Bank customers. Convenience plays a major role in this regard. The Bank currently has five branches, one of which is in a neighboring community supermarket. ATM facilities are available at all locations. Constantly aware of diversity in our ever-changing environment, the Bank offers a multitude of mortgage programs and rates to satisfy every home buyer. The Bank is also a member of the SUM ATM network, enabling customers to use other participating banks ATMs without surcharge. In 1998, the Bank introduced Eagle Access 24-hour telephone banking. This service provides Eagle Bank customers 24-hour access to their loan and deposit account information. Late in 2000, Internet banking with Eagle OnSite was introduced, providing customers with additional convenient access to their accounts wherever and whenever they can connect to the Internet. In addition, online bill pay has quickly proven itself as a valuable resource and is now considered a necessity by many customers. Eagle Bank also has two locations in Lexington: One at 171 Mass Ave., and the other at 1768 Mass Ave. We also have a Loan Center at 350 Broadway in Everett.
