I heard about this place from a co-worker who said the magic words: delicious and affordable. I thought I'd give it a shot and I'm so sad to say that I was really disappointed. The first thing I did was head to the bathroom to wash my hands. I was shocked. The sinks were cracked and all of it's pipes were exposed. There was this weird rusty moldy and flaky stuff on the sides of the stall doors, and worst of all it smelled of oysters. Seriously, I'm looking back and I don't even know why I stayed there. I guess my hope was that the food would overshadow the scary first impression I had with the bathroom. It didn't. The food was okay at best. The only things this place has going for it is it's sweet tea and its attentive servers. Oh and the bible thumpers that eat there- if you're into that kind of thing. Overall the place is nothing short gross and the only way I'd go back is if they showed their place of business and their customers the respect it deserves and cleaned up their acts and their bathroom. more

Well I am not sure where Donna and some of these other people ate, but it couldn’t have been at Dynastic Buffet. My partner and I eat here several times a week and we are picky eaters. This buffet has great food, well prepared, and a wide variety. They use large shrimp and even have Nigiri sushi on the buffet. The restaurant is clean and the atmosphere nice. The service is always good. The owner is nice and always appreciates our business. It’s the only Chinese buffet that we go to in the Atlanta/Marietta area. I would highly recommend the restaurant. \r more

Five Star Buffet 7/18/2010

Today I took my family out for dinner at Dynastic Buffet. Even though the exterior looks plain, the interior makes up for everything. When I stepped foot into the restaurant, the cashier greeted me with a warming smile. We looked around the buffet and we could not believe our eyes. They had oysters, shrimps, steaks, prime ribs, crab legs, roast ducks, and even frog legs. They also had a salad bar, a sushi bar and ooh...the dessert bar. Just looking at it made my mouth water. Tasting them was a true experience. And all of this was just like $10/person. It would have cost me a fortune to buy these groceries and make them at home. The waitresses were just so attentive. I had just finished a plate and they were already there to pick it up. If my drink was just a little low, they filled it right back up. This is just the best place to eat. Even my kid whose usually picky found something she liked. They even made a pizza just for her. All I know is I'm coming back to that place. Pros: Great Service, Delicious Food, Very Reasonable Price Cons: Not finding them till today more

COLD FOOD ALERT 3/29/2010

Dynastic Buffet is the worst restaurant to eat at. At 12 noon you should be able to set down to a nice hot lunch. The meat was as cold as my jello. The lo mein noodle tasted like they just came out of the frig. The soup was luke warm and should of been so hot you have to blow on it to cool it off. Pros: Walking out the door Cons: Paying for cold food more

Great Food 10/7/2009

My husband and I recently moved to Marietta from Pennsylvania. We have ate at several different Chinese restaurants in the area and were extremely disappointed. I thought we were never going to find one as good as the one we ate at in PA. Today after reading some of the reviews, we decided to give Dynastic Buffet a chance. We are glad we did. It's not the fanciest place around, but the food is really good. Everything I got was very tasty, fresh and hot. I would recommend this to anyone who loves good Chinese food. Pros: Just what I have been looking for. more

BEST BUFFET EXISTS 8/24/2009

My family love buffet, we have ate at every buffet in metro Atlanta, including New china on Barrett, Grand Asian on chastain & acworth, and Atlantic Buffet on 41. Dynastic is truly the best one as far, my family loves it. And they even have game room for children. After my 6 & 10 years old finish eating the great food, they can have fun in the game room. What a great idea. One of my favorite thing is their seafood selection, from fish to oyster to crab legs, yummmm. My favorite is that flounder, so good, i can't get enough of it. Also, their service is superb, i haven't see any Chinese restaurant that offer such great service, so attentive. Great service. I recommend this restaurant to everybody. DON'T LET ANYBODY MISLEAD U, check them out yourself, i am sure you'll be pleased as my family. more

WORST Taste Ever! 8/11/2009

Not too sure where the taste buds are on the other reviewers, but this place is a DIVE! We live in Kennesaw, a few miles away from this location. My wife is Filipina and she loves crab legs and noodles. We go to the Grand Asian Buffet near Town Center Mall as it is the best in the area (I don't really care for it as they use too much MSG). We have tried most of the Asian Buffets in the area, to include the ones on 41 in Acworth and many throughout the USA when we travel. We know what good food should be and this just AIN'T IT by a serious long shot! We arrived in time to see the first plate of crab legs come out to the buffet. It seems no one knows how to cook them anymore except on the coast, those poor animals died for no reason yesterday and we were disappointed. My 3 kids ate good and my Mother focused on the EXCELLENT pork chops. I only found the pork chops at the last sampling I did on my third trip. I make several trips to every buffet to sample different items, I dont pile it on the plate as I truly want to find the tasty food and dont want it all mushed together. The 'Sushi' was tasteless, that includes the 'Cali Rolls', shrimp and Tuna sushi. The other foods felt like they were quickly cooked and not lovingly done. With only about 10 people in the place, including my party of 6, they could have done better. I will NEVER visit this restaurant again and would rather deal with Grand Asian Buffet than this FILTHY place. At least no one got sick from the filth on the carpets, floor and absolutely FILTHY kitchen! I cannot say enough bad about this place. The good, the waitresses were polite and charming, they were a bit slow in filling up our drinks as we were empty for some time (4-10 minutes) before anyone noticed. The Pork Chops were excellent and you could get your money worth by just eating rice and killing the chops as a 2 item meal. Again, they wont see us back in the joint, it needs to be converted to an extension of the Cobb County DMV as it would fit right in with the way they treat us all. Pros: Grilled Pork Chops were the best thing on the Buffet Cons: FILTHY Floors and Kitchen, HOURS OLD FOOD, HIP HOP Muzak! more

Only In America! 3/4/2009

Sushi, raw oysters, fresh fish, crab legs, chicken, rice, noodles, beer, cookies, cake, ice cream....really?!? They only make a little pan at a time unlike most buffet places that fill a whole pan of food that soon gets old and cold. All of their entrees were hot; decent crowd and and now I see why. Great food for the price, roughly $25 for two and we left FULL. The name is Don King-ish but don't let that stop you!! Pros: Thumbs up more

Truely the BEST Buffet fare in the west. 12/8/2008

Truely a 5 star Buffet. My family loves the buffet and we have sampled Buffet tables from Las Vegas to vareous overseas countries and I can tell you that For $5.99 lunch buffet you cannot beat the Dynastic Buffet in Canton Road, Marietta. The food is above average and the selections more than you can try. This is the only place I have seen a Raw and cooked sushi choice. I have no idea how thay can present such a spread for that price- go try it, you will love it. Pros: Price and selection and quality Cons: always very busy. more
